A casual observer probably would not see the variation between the two; however, the wearer sees and feels a great difference. Great points Jerry! Same thing happens with our appearance.. I see lots of wrinkles and saggy skin beginning to show as I age.. but no one else seems to notice..lol! 🤣😉😍
I freaked out the first time I tried on a wig close to what style I wore my hair when it was thicket and healthier. But now that I am a pro at making a wig look like my real hair, I love getting a new wig( which I am looking now). I already know that I will half to thin a heck of a lot of hair out. But I am having so much fun. When one or two starts to show age, I will cut pieces of one wig on to another. Usually to add a different color strands, like frosted, and sew them in. On one wig I cut curls off and sew in another wig. I just wish they made a frosted in a dark brown color...and not red???

I had to laugh, LOL, I nearly fell on my head in my attempt to quickly find my Onda and check more closely for permatease, curl pattern and density, lol, it was quite the sight!😂😂😂😂😂 My First Onda is like yours, so I'm crossing my fingers and toes that the Banana Beige is at least close enough that a few tweaks and she'll go from "Onda" to, "Lauras Onda"!!! Hi Taz, I am new to synthetic wigs. I am wearing wigs for years but always real human hair. I had one synthetic wig, during chemo. My second synthetic one is Turn from Ellen Wille. I ordered Onda and it looks just like the one you are wearing. I agree, they’re manufactured and it’s a hit or miss; but will keep buying my wigs. You look adorable in it though, curly hair loves you🌸
I love this style. Honestly, this color on monitor appears like a cross between Champagne Rooted and Caramel Rooted. It is gorgeous. Though I have tried to avoid most rooted blondes, I ordered this one myself. I am still not sure of the root. Some have said it's an ashy root, though your interpretation is a warm root. Could be a variance, of course, and you know I love an ashy root over a warm one. The curl pattern is stunning, but seems it varies a lot just like the Girl Mono, eh? So, I'm hoping for lower permatease and ashy root! We shall see!
Yes, lots of slight variation in many areas of this style. The root is golden brown, but not too warm (not brassy at all):-) I love how the rooting is done on the Bahama Beige! I think the Bahama Beige might be a good bet for you, Cyn. Funny story.. I put Onda in Bahama Beige on a dark skinned mannequin and forgot about it.. I went to get it this morning to run some errands.. I could not find it anywhere because on the dark skinned mannequin, the Bahama Beige looked so LIGHT..lol, so I kept passing it over..on me looks so different! Love and hugs! XOXO

I ordered Onda and waiting for it to arrive. You are so right, these wigs are manufactured and we have to take them as they are. I’m a seasoned wig wearer and I will probably thin the sides if too much hair and trim length. I don’t do the big hair anymore. Though I love it. Try to make wig natural looking for my age. I was going to ask if you thought there was just a difference because of the colors, but I saw Eileen's review of Onda in the Bahama Beige and it looked like your first Onda, slimmer, beachy waves. Also, the lighter shades are brought up to the hairline on yours, where Eileen's was very dark at the hairline. I guess I should just order two or three in the color I like and see which one has the curl pattern that suits me! Thanks for your great reviews and comparisons. You always do a marvelous job!!
Hi Taz. Thank you so much for this review. I am wondering about the fit on the cap was that any different? The fit was great for you on the first one. How about #2? My first one I had a little trouble with the lace. I found my measurement across the forhead a little large for my head. Triming the rolling lace and glue needed for me to wear but I love the style. I'm trying to get brave enough to buy another. Lol. So hoping you can add a few answers for me
Thanks for another honest review! I got Onda last week and love it! I’ve almost stopped getting duplicate styles because of variances. I don’t think others notice that however! We notice it, but our own hair never looks the same twice (if we have hair)! 💕💕🌸🌸
My Girl Mono in Light Bernstein Rooted (I wish she had come in Bernstein) has a softer curl pattern than others I have seen. That’s the thing with these curly wavy wigs they seem to be a bit inconsistent. Maybe I’m wrong but it seems to really vary between color to color.
I agree... there is a high degree of variability among pieces of the same style/color. I also had a GM in Lt Bern Rooted.. very round, softer curl compared to my Champagne Rooted! Always great to see you Rachel! XOXO
I love the Bahama Beige with more volume, permatease, and rounded curls. It is very feminine and looks dazzling on you! But the variance between the two is quite noticeable that I'd be disappointed if I ordered one and it came like your first.

I'm comfortable resizing wefted wigs to remove the baggy crown issue, but it's always great to find wigs that will fit okay without requiring a resize! I've added some of the smaller-running Average sizes to my wishlist now, thanks to your reviews. My Onda arrived this week in Bahama Beige; very satisfied! Curly ringlets, low permatese, the color a little darker than I like, and low volume. I may thin her though and cut the length some, but overall I am satisfied!🥀

I loved the review on the first Onda, so I ran out and ordered one in the Bahama Beige Blonde because I thought I would like the shading. While I love the color, mine is even different from both of yours. I tried some of your styling tricks I’ve learned over the years and think it is really going to take having the side thinned out. Just way too heavy around the face with bulky hair that is lifeless. Mine is shorter than yours as well. Love both of yours. My last 2 purchases have been disappointing. Need to learn more styling tips

You might look at Belle Tress Champagne With Apple Pie or Belle Tress Roca Margarita Blonde.. both have lighter roots. The Estetica Sunlit Blonde has a lighter root compared to these Ellen Wille styles as well.. lots of options out there.

It's hard to say because I have seen Ellen Wille's Champagne Rooted be both cool and warm depending on the style, etc.. You can always trim in a shorter fringe XOXO

Please contact support@wigstudio1.com or the retailer from which you bought it.. Frizzy fibers can mean many things, but curly wigs tend to be a bit frizzy with flyaways.. I use water to reshape it or a small amount of Simply Stylin' Silk Spray in my hand to reshape the curl XOXO
It is a fairly bright platinum with a slight gold cast very sublime… root is medium brown to a golden brown and well blended… the style is like your first Oinda. I received mine today…despite being told it was on back order… lovely surprise. The cap fits like a dream come true…
How disappointing! It seems there should be certain standards; especially curl pattern and permatease. I can’t wear the beachy waves as it looks stringy on me, so this new one looks absolutely fabulous to me…and that lovely color! Thanks for breaking this down.

As I have said a 1000X.. it is impossible to convey the exact color due to cameras, viewing devices, lighting, etc. PLUS, add in the fact that there are variances from wig to wig of the same color from the manufacturer. That's because you have different workers making the same style. You never know what you're gonna get. I have a few very poorly done from top wig manufacturers. The wigs just don't seem to be as good of quality as before. Thanks to covid!

Hi Taz. Thank you so much for this review. I am wondering about the fit on the cap was that any different? The fit was great for you on the first one. How about #2? My first one I had a little trouble with the lace. I found my measurement across the forhead a little large for my head. Triming the rolling lace and glue needed for me to wear but I love the style. I'm trying to get brave enough to buy another. Lol. So hoping you can add a few answers for me

Thanks for another honest review! I got Onda last week and love it! I’ve almost stopped getting duplicate styles because of variances. I don’t think others notice that however! We notice it, but our own hair never looks the same twice (if we have hair)! 💕💕🌸🌸

My Girl Mono in Light Bernstein Rooted (I wish she had come in Bernstein) has a softer curl pattern than others I have seen. That’s the thing with these curly wavy wigs they seem to be a bit inconsistent. Maybe I’m wrong but it seems to really vary between color to color.
I agree... there is a high degree of variability among pieces of the same style/color. I also had a GM in Lt Bern Rooted.. very round, softer curl compared to my Champagne Rooted! Always great to see you Rachel! XOXO
I love the Bahama Beige with more volume, permatease, and rounded curls. It is very feminine and looks dazzling on you! But the variance between the two is quite noticeable that I'd be disappointed if I ordered one and it came like your first.
So glad I discovered your channel, Taz! I have a 21" circumference and I truly appreciate your thorough reviews. I'm comfortable resizing wefted wigs to remove the baggy crown issue, but it's always great to find wigs that will fit okay without requiring a resize! I've added some of the smaller-running Average sizes to my wishlist now, thanks to your reviews. At some point, do you think you'll do a Wig Closet - Petites and Petite/Average showcase video or series?

My Onda arrived this week in Bahama Beige; very satisfied! Curly ringlets, low permatese, the color a little darker than I like, and low volume. I may thin her though and cut the length some, but overall I am satisfied!🥀

They are similar in density, variances not withstanding. If I were going for a shade close to SS Biscuit I would choose the Cream Blonde Shaded. XOXO

I loved the review on the first Onda, so I ran out and ordered one in the Bahama Beige Blonde because I thought I would like the shading. While I love the color, mine is even different from both of yours. I tried some of your styling tricks I’ve learned over the years and think it is really going to take having the side thinned out. Just way too heavy around the face with bulky hair that is lifeless. Mine is shorter than yours as well. Love both of yours. My last 2 purchases have been disappointing. Need to learn more styling tips

You might look at Belle Tress Champagne With Apple Pie or Belle Tress Roca Margarita Blonde.. both have lighter roots. The Estetica Sunlit Blonde has a lighter root compared to these Ellen Wille styles as well.. lots of options out there.

It's hard to say because I have seen Ellen Wille's Champagne Rooted be both cool and warm depending on the style, etc.. You can always trim in a shorter fringe XOXO

I love your reviews!! Has made transitioning to wig wearing so much easier!! I purchased Onda in this color and love her but the fibers are so frizzy. Is there anything I can do salvage her so I don’t have to return it? Thanks!!
Please contact support@wigstudio1.com or the retailer from which you bought it.. Frizzy fibers can mean many things, but curly wigs tend to be a bit frizzy with flyaways.. I use water to reshape it or a small amount of Simply Stylin' Silk Spray in my hand to reshape the curl XOXO

Permatease can be "molded and shaped" with heat from hand, but you cannot safely remove permatease XOXO

It is a fairly bright platinum with a slight gold cast very sublime… root is medium brown to a golden brown and well blended… the style is like your first Oinda. I received mine today…despite being told it was on back order… lovely surprise. The cap fits like a dream come true…

it looks more ash than neutral, the color in the catalog is not ash platinum,its yellow blond, definitely not the same
Lighting and cameras can affect color.. I do the best I can and you can take or leave the info
you wig is more platinum than the other youtube wig studio 1 feature in this same color. Why is that? I want your version, not the yellow blond version on wig studio 1 shown
As I have said a 1000X.. it is impossible to convey the exact color due to cameras, viewing devices, lighting, etc. PLUS, add in the fact that there are variances from wig to wig of the same color from the manufacturer. That's because you have different workers making the same style. You never know what you're gonna get. I have a few very poorly done from top wig manufacturers. The wigs just don't seem to be as good of quality as before. Thanks to covid!
