I like watching someone like yourself restoring old vintage toys and making them look almost brand new, I find it relaxing seeing someone restore these things.
I was a lucky boy when Santa bought me this tank one Christmas! The caterpillar tracks went first, boo, hoo! Great trip down memory lane.
This tutorial may well come in handy as i'm after 1 of these bad boys at the moment, There'll no doubt be a bent axle or 2 and a few stickers to replace! Nice job!
The Gaming Toy Boy I was gutted when I took it out the box to be honest and it would not even roll, certainly didn’t think I would be making a video on it, but I am so happy with it now as I never had this as a kid 😊

I only ever had the 1 vehicle as a kid, that was the bog standard Armoured Car, might not have even been an Action man 1 either! So every vehicle i acquire is new to me, and even though i have no nostalgia towards them, the child inside of me comes out whenever i unbox a new ebay purchase! :)

I just got a Scorpion. Being from the US, we didn't have this. Do you know how the drivers hatch is attached? It has a tab that fits in the hole, but is there a fastener that keeps it from coming off? Also, I noticed your tank is missing the small 7.62mm gun on the turret, but in the opening of the video the tank had it. Did you make one, and if so what did you use? Also do you know if anyone makes replacement smoke canisters, mine is missing the outer ones on each side. Great video and I appreciate any info you can provide.

PLEASE COULD YOU DO A VIDEO TO REPAIR THE FIELD RADIOS, IF THEY CAN BE FIXED
FEILD RADIOS WOULD BE COOL..THEY PLAY RECORDS..DISCS..LOOK DIFFICULT TO FIX!

Looks better than the tracked vehicles that came with the little GI Joes, free rolling tracks would have been cool.
Cool video! I had a Viper tank for my Action Man which I guess was unofficial as it wasn't made by Palitoy but in my opinion was better made and had more detail.

Brilliant, thank you. Does anyone know of a source for replacement tracks? My APC is good to go, but I have seen some Scorpions on eBay that were missing their tracks. I have ideas of putting together a Striker.

Use to have that till gave it away with boat cannon and my first action in the early 2000s. Could kick myself now.
Last year I picked up an action man 1982 talking commander with eagle eye. Few months 1973 field commander and field radio boxed and a 1982 G. I. Joe Duke US army soldier and spare uniform. Last month a 1973 pilot. Land rover army Jeep and Scout car. Last week 2 1993 action men and dinghy with board motor. I always say 60s 70 action mans the best. Can't call those 1990s are action man because they look cheaper and not made by Palatoy. As say picked up 2 90s action man figures knees don't bend I thought I sit them in the jeep see what they look like but couldn't fit.
Looks great but this is NOT a tank..its a c.v.r. (t).....yes im aware its says 'tank' on the box and i can understand why (from a marketing piont of view "tank" sounds better than "c.v.r.(t).....google alvis scorpion and you will see there is a whole family of vechiles based around the chassis and NONE of them are tanks....and if you look at the gi joe /action force wolverine you will see that is also based on the scorpion design (fictious ofcourse as alvis didn't make a wolverine variant)
