The designer played around with asking "what engine will be in the motorcycle", and it was a good question. Most comments agreed that the perfect one would be a Ducati V4. That would produce a motorcycle with 218 Horse Power at 13000 revs, and 124 Newton meters of exciting torque. Figures that could go up to 234 Horse Power with the Racing Performance of the Akrapovic exhaust, as on the Panigale V4 R. It would certainly provide plenty of play on the road and track.

Been on two wheels since 1967; My 2023 Panigale V4R with the full Titanium Exhaust and it handling in all aspects is hands down the absolutely most impressive extension of being! It’s above all; the most incredible of all I have ever encountered amongst the extensive motorcycles previously owned and previously experienced! ❤
Very awesome Bike! I feel the same way about my BMWS1000RR, I’ve put a lot of carbon on it love the look and feel. I was going to buy a Ducati 916 25th Anniversary Edition but I also wanted more comfortable touring bike as well and since I’m not rich and can’t afford everything at this moment I opted to get a Desert X but I will have a Panigale 916 Anniversary Edition one day hopefully either the 30th or 25th. Congrats on the V4R amazing machine.

I have a cafe racer Ducati and I had the side panels on the gas tank painted Rosso Barchetta, the same color as my F355. Then I put the Scuderia shields on the side of the tank.
I don’t have Ferrari on the bike, I figured if you know you know.

Guess your from the US or never own a race bike. V8 or V6 that doesn’t matter, think there are other factors more important for a race horse like this.
Design is great but not that special. I think besides the wrong choice of engine, the Aston Martin bike is a more exclusive design, that will last for ages.

They can even build a motorcycle with in line four like MV Agusta do. Not necessarily V4 . If even Ferrari is building a bike then why does it has to be V lay out. Btw i m from Nepal. @@pravinshrestha2017so mere nepali bhai the thing is V series engines are better in every way than I4. That is the reason why ducati has won so many championships in wsbk. Also the new V4 from ducati is only three seconds slower than moto gp bikes on race track. Also you can't take an H2 and try to go against a ducati on race track (you are gonna lose badly). H2 makes 230horses with a force induction engine whereas ducati can make 240.5hp with a NA engine in the same 999cc category

I m talking about practicality here not out and out racing. H2R makes around 326 hp and has record of surpassing 400 kmph. When a V4 engine surpasses that speed then you have got a point.
Everything Ferrari makes has 6 figure price tags now to include bikes.

A Ferrari should have a Ferrari engine. I would go with an inline 4, the sound would be closer to a Ferrari flat plane V8 then a V4 engine and it would differentiate it from Ducati motorbikes.

Ducati and issue is its Italian and like most things they make break, bad electrics, expensive parts and many go up in flames. I have owned 2 and both were junk.

I own a Ducati 959 and it’s been nothing but trouble,uncomfortable ride,production heating problems when riding,constant seals leaking,if this is how Italian bikes are made I would never buy a Ferrari or any other Italian vehicle EVER!
