- Sony sure know how to make obscure entries in large franchises that just about everyone forgets about. Nothing quite beats making your game download only on a dying system near the end of its life, that was also a tie in for the launch of the ill-conceived PSP Go system in Japan. A digital only version of the PSP console, that couldn't play 2/3 of the PSP library as it didn't have a UMD drive and many games didn't get a digital release oops. The fate of the PSP Go is well documented and lets just says words and phases such as disaster, lead balloon, flop and failure can all be used in conjunction with it.
This Ladies and Gentlemen is what happened with LocoRoco Midnight Carnival the brilliant third entry in the LocoRoco series was released. Much like the PSP Go we suspect the game was a bit of a flop on the PlayStation Store, but at present it is still available to buy and if you enjoyed the previous games in the series, is a must buy. This is a platformer and a puzzle game rolled into one where the aim is to guide the Locoroco's to the end of the stage, by tilting the game world left and right. Each stage feels very different and you can swap between any of the LocoRoco from the menu, there is also a rather fun set of mini-games you can unlock.
Midnight Carnival picks up from where LocoRoco 2 finished and has an increased difficulty as a result. So unless you want a challenge from the get go playing the first or second game may be a better starting point for your first experience with the series. The art and music, perfectly match the gameplay in a happy bright and colourful world. The opening intro in the video is utterly fantastic and the fact the character art for the BuiBui is lip synced with the music, show off the level of polish in this game. This is a work of art and a must own title for any self respecting PSP owner. You can buy a ultimate edition bundle on the UK score for £4.99, which includes the three DLC levels. Gamers be warned the last stage from the DLC is designed for series veterans only.

The dialogue is different compared to the one I have on the vita because first line of the first cutscene says "Bui-bui! We love to make trouble!" While the vita one says "BuiBui! Mischief is my hobby!"

Either it's a randomly generated line from a selection in game or may be localisation changes, PAL version was shown in this video.
@@RandomisedGamingRUclips I have the PAL version, and yes, the dialogue is the same in the PAL vita version (The one used in this video)
Just a word of warning to all gamers out there still looking to buy this on the PS3 store. The recent update last week appears to have broken the handshake between PS3 and the transfer feature that allows you to copy games to PSP or PSVita. We are looking into this issue at present. Delisted Games website has also covered it.

Can you please put a link for the full game? The full game is no where to be found. all links are demo.
You can only buy the PSP game directly from the PlayStation 3 Store or the PSVita Store now if you want the PSP version. As the Sony website store that used to have it has since been closed and makes buying PSP games troublesome if you don't have the other consoles.

We weren't planning on doing a full longplay in the near future, but we will likely do a playthrough at some point on the channel, but likely not for a few years on the channel.
For some reason my psp refuses to connect to the internet and I have no chance of buying this game, I'm stuck with the demo for 11 years, all I could do was watch
Do you have the latest firmware from Sony's official website on the PSP? Downloading that could help.
I cant download anything from the official website to the psp because it wont get activated
Your need a PC to download it and then have to copy it across via Memory Stick Pro Duo, just make sure you get the firmware for the matching PSP region.
It says its version 9.90 so theres no need to update
So I dont think firmwares the problem. I'll try getting the code some day from another source
