IMO Maddie got the worst treatment, She always had the moms jealous of her saying very hurtful things in front of her about her and her mom. the pressure to keep her spot on top, pressure to be the best at all times. Always being used as the example. Imagine working your ass off just for all the other moms and people around you to belittle your hard work and never be happy for you. Imagine how out of place you would feel as a child. They all got mistreated but I especially felt bad for Maddie and Nia.
Maddie got the opportunity from it. She was never treated poorly or belittled by her dance teacher and got every professional opportunity sent her way because Abby sent her into these auditions. That’s insulting to even say that. She got to capitalize off of her trauma, the other girls quit dancing permanently and didn’t get anywhere near the same opportunities as Maddie.
