    I have had Xfinity since 2017 & I am in love with this service. My bill has always been consistent, unlike other service companies. I totally agree with your coverage opinion! That was the first thing that shocked me. I KEEP a signal for the most part. It may drop here and there, but not for long. I travel (drive) ALOT, and my service was basically available. I was amazed! Spot on review!!!!

    Work there and been with them since. Been great for me. I'm in the test group so I get to see first hand what they are doing. It's only getting getter and with the 4th gen plans it's even better.

    question for you - Amazon Renewed often has phones offered in Verizon or unlocked, I should be safer with an unlocked Android device, right?

    Great video Jeremy i definitely appreciate your views on xfinity mobile. I just switch from Tmobile to Xfintiy mobile a few days ago and want to know how they really operate. I have a few question my phone has been connected to xfinity mobile via wifi and find it strange because when i am connected to my home wifi it switches straight to the connected via xfinity mobile. Also the coverage it seems i get alot of LTE+ coverage more than 5G even tho when i was with Tmobile i get 5G mainly everywhere.

    I'm paying $92 unlimited data using AT&T. I don't need cable because I get HBO Max free with them and I have Amazon Prime. I use Antenna for 40 or more TV channels and can use an HDMI adapter when I want to watch movies from my phone on a TV. My question is how much more would I have to pay since you say I need to also get cable to get the phone service? I doubt it would be more economical than what I'm doing. I also get 40 gig for Hotspot included.

    Xfinity does the job if u don't care about having a 20gb data cap. Speed can suck once u use it up til your next cycle.

    I have xfinity mobile now for 3 months and I am a truck driver cost to cost mainly on interstates. Xfinity sucks it doesnt even compare to verizon which is who i had before. I could use the 8nternet everywhere a d hot spot my tablet and it worked everywhere

      @@ADOS_DSGB they do but there's got to be a reason why Verizon charges you almost a $100 for 1 line after taxes and any other service you use that runs off Verizon towers is like 50% cheaper. Wouldn't be surprised if they throttle speeds or only allow access to a part of their network.

    I switched back to Xfinity Mobile about 3 weeks ago after bouts with both AT&T and Verizon. I had Xfinity Mobile about 2 years ago when I had the Note 8. I now have the Note20 Ultra and I don't intend to switching up my phone or the plan. They both simply just work. Effortlessly.

      @@kevinborish if you cancel the home internet ya gota pay an extra fee on every line and can no longer upgrade phones, so it comes out the same as Verizon’s price but not better.

    I switched back to Tmobile last year. Xfinity wanted to raise my bill by $40 a month because I didn't use their internet anymore. Also, Tmobile has more billing options. I can make payment arrangements on the app, xfinity didn't have those options.

    But I do know anybody who is not on the actual Verizon network is going to be throttled and put below all of their regular paying customers who are paying more for Verizon.

    December 2022 Been with xfinity for 12 years, service Internet and cable have been fair. Long periods where Internet was unreliable. Cell phone Service was good until you try to cancel anything. If you don't have their Internet your cell phone bell goes up. Try to get your phones unlocked so you can go do a different Carrier ? Infuriating!! My senior husband, Who works a great distance away, is not able to use his cell phone because they are not unlocking it for the last 3 days. Phones were paid off in November and we owe them no money. Time to call the consumer protection and FCC.. Worst company ever ! Lie after lie. Promises Made, promises broken.

    I've been with Xfinity Mobile for 3 years and it has been horrible for me. I absolutely NEED to be on wifi because my data simply does not work anywhere. I live right across the bridge from their headquarters. Also, their unlimited plan is capped at 20g/month

      I switched from t mobile and I miss the data speed currently its ass. just gonna keep it for 2 years to pay off this S23U the credits are crazy on the promo and switch back to t-mobile with w.e. promo they got and sell this S23U if need be or jus use it eSim

    Xfinity doesn't let you use a phone that you bought from them. You cannot move a number back to them and use a phone that worked on that same number. Their Xfinity Assistant is crap.

    So video streaming is only at a 480p quality when using cellular data? I regularly watch RUclips or Twitch when I have down time at work. If that’s the case Xfinity won’t work for me.

      That's what they say, but you still have the option to change the video quality on RUclips and Twitch. It seems that it'll default to 480p quality whenever the streaming app doesn't give you quality options.
      They also added two new unlimited plans since I made this video. There are now $55 and $65 plans with 720p default streaming, more hotspot data and faster hotspot speeds.

    I’m curious if the service includes roaming. I know a lot of companies that rent from towers of the big players, roaming is off the table.

    I've had Verizon for about 10 years and Xfinity talked me into switching. They failed to mention that my Samsung Note 9 is not compatible, instead I have talked to support multiple times, they either hang up on me or blind transfer me without resolving the issues. It's been a headache. I'm a business owner and rely on my phone to work. My voicemail stopped working ever since I switched and I'm on LTE, no longer 4G. Thanks for your video, it's been helpful.

    That’s an odd statement! I work in Seattle(downtown )and Verizon has none to one bar! 🤔 switching to T-mobile I have no problems! None! Paid Verizon for 20 years and they just kept getting worse every year!

    I only had Xfinity mobile for 1 week. Not pleased the phone was awful when switched from t mobile. Then took phone back wanted to charge 35 to take back then extra 100 the following day. Bought phone may 27,2022 and took back to Xfinity may 28th, 2022. Told not thier problem and refused to take the phone back however I left the phone in the man's hands when salesman tried to give back told the man it is returned and walked out the door. I will never leave t mobile again. However Xfinity with Internet with TV is great. Verizon and Xfinity are still the same. But to return phone they will charge you to return phone due to inventory nope. That is the problem

    I've had a really negative experience with Xfinity Mobile, making it the worst carrier I've ever had. In most areas, there's little to no 5G network coverage, and I couldn't even watch RUclips videos. Whenever I called customer service for help, they would just transfer me to another agent, giving me false hope that my issue would be resolved, only to hang up on me later. I initially thought I was getting a good deal, but I deeply regret my decision now. I came across some negative comments about Xfinity being the worst, but I chose to ignore them and give it a try, and unfortunately, I paid the price for that

    I recently switched from Tmobile to xfinity mobile and I seldom get 5G although I got 5g almost always with Tmobile. Xfinity has been no help blaming cell towers but same locations worked with Tmobile but no 5g on xf onky LTE. nit even 4g. Why?

      I can partly answer that for you but someone correct me if I'm wrong
      Recently some time last year Xfinity Mobile switched from using Verizon's towers to using their own towers. I've noticed a difference in the signal strength in some areas and to your point yes some spots that use to have 5G are no longer there. Good thing is though I do have consistent calls and texts, hopefully that helps.

    We hate Xfinity mobile and we live in the Fresno area. My wife and I have x Xfinity mobile and it's been a nightmare. we've had them for over 3 years and never have I had visual voicemail with my iPhone, I don't have caller ID. We've been to their office and called tech and everyone has been so lazy with helping us out that it's been 3 years and I am tired of it and just let it go. So basically 3 years with no called ID or visual voicemail.
    Furthermore, although we don't have problems with drop calls or phone calls in general, our internet service is horrible!! When we're out, we barely have it available. We hate it so much that we plan to switch back to Verizon and are considering paying double just for caller ID and voicemail and a reliable internet service.
    It's 2023, RUclips and smart home are everywhere. For this reason, you NEED a reliable internet service as much as a reliable phone service when you're dealing with mobile and we just don't have this experience. It's weird though cause my mom, wife and I have this problem, but my sister and her husband doesn't have this problem.

    God no, don't do it, worst support ever with xfinity mobile. If you have an issue that needs escalation, meaning their tier 1 cannot solve it, their overseas Philippines helpdesk will stonewall you non-stop if you ask to escalate. They have failed to unlock my phone after 4 "submitted requests" and keep telling me "there is no other way to do it", been 12 days now for a paid off phone...

    How is it in heavy traffic? I pay $90 thru Verizon and when I'm in heavy cellular area I'll never have my phone throttled

      It's technically unlimited since they don't cut the data off after 20GBs, but they do significantly lower the speeds.

    I must say… You are lucky that the phone continues to work without issue if they are reporting that it is not compatible. I have learned the hard way that sometimes the lack of compatibility isn’t true incompatibility but rather their network system detecting a discrepancy and then blocking service. I tried to dual SIM my iPhone 13 pro max again it’s the US version it will work on Verizon and all the networks. Because Xfinity mobile got assigned IMEI 2 it wouldn’t let me pair my Sim on the website and the service would work briefly but then as soon as a call would come in I would lose network access until I reset the modem and rebooted. I had to redo my SIM profiles completely and make sure my T-Mobile line got the second IMEI to get it to work.

    Absolutely the worst customer service in the game....hands down. Straight Talk is a distant second but it's not even close. They don't even give their techs (which are all overseas..India, Thailand and the sort) the tools they need to resolve issues. You constantly have to repeat information you just gave the person before. Their app. is about as useless as their customer service. I would pay alittle more to avoid the customer service alone. About a year left in our contract and we are moving our cell and internet service as fast as we can.

      It depends, most of the time yes.
      If in doubt, you can head on over to their website, and by using the IMEI of your phone you can check if _your_ particular smartphone is compatible with the network.

    Hi, I’ve been with tmobile for an decade pay bout $120mo for two lines. I’ve also, been with xfinity for awhile as well I’am now debating on joining their phone service for $80mo unlimited. I’ve gotten mix reviews so ppl said they never received the $200 gift card xfinity is offer if u join. Also, some ppl had issue with sims cards.

    Xfinity mobile biggest rip-off I have been charged automatic payment without my concern over 500 from my account i sign up for 2 phone 30 month they scammers keep charging me 120 month . Are you effing kidding me? Don't ever sign for this BS service.
