Yes. It's the same screen and same procedure. The only difference in those 2 computers is the actuall motherboard. Screen assembly is exactly the same.
Hi I bought adhesive tape but it's too thick and I need a thinner one do you have any links as I can't find the correct one and I need to take it off again! Thank you
I get the tape online. Try here: www.rossmanngroup.com/shop/adhesives/3m-core-5mm-adhesive/ www.rossmanngroup.com/shop/adhesives/3m-core-12mm-adhesive/ both widths will work fine.
Hi Friend, thanks for your. I have a MacBookPro 8,1 A1278 2010 says at the top and 2011 in the detail of software , core i5 4 of ram , screen 13 " . It happens that normally turns on fan startup sound and all but gives no video at all, is black screen , also does video to crank or start the system with an additional external display, but instead if I have video when I launch the single connected system the external display and disconnected from the motherboard native screen . this is why we tried to get the screen to try another but mori in the attempt and am with the trizado glass to one side, I guess for not hot enough the screen, by the way, a few degrees Celsius of temperature should I have my air gun welding to be enough and can draw the screen friend ?, then I hope I have not bored with my detail and can give me a hand with the prognosis or solution
I have fucked up more bezels than most have fixed Macbook Airs... and , whether it's 2008 or 2014, no one has that fucking bezel for sale. And that plastic shit at the bottom with the two super tiny little rods attaching it, that the bezel glues to, that sticks out if you break the two tiny plastic rods... what a nightmare. Then the battery explodes. Then the hinge breaks Then the CPU overheats from watching a youtube video Then the soldered on RAM dies then "it was fine before you replaced my screen" then "you can go fuck yourself" This laptop has never ended well for me. Good thing I now know someone to work on them for me! :p
Hey there. Sorry, I completely missed ur question here. You can get the screen online just by searching "a1304 replacement screen". If you want to use ebay do the same search or screencountry you can just search for a1304.
Not exactly sure what you are referring to. There should be nothing on the top left corner other than a screw hole bracket. If it's missing just ignore it. It's there just to hold the screen down to the case. You have another 3 to do that
+Milan Stojic It looked like it should have been stuck to the Basel that goes around the the screen, it was just like a screw but without the threads, light grey.
+Jorge Bensson it's a pin. If it's not there it means you ripped it off. Forget abt it out the tape and move on. That's a positioning pin for the bezel so you place it in the proper spot
Hi, great guide, will this work for the older A1237 MacBook Air? I have to replace a screen as well... Thank you very much, best regards!
Yes. It's the same screen and same procedure. The only difference in those 2 computers is the actuall motherboard. Screen assembly is exactly the same.
