I made the questionable decision to fold this on 8cm paper and it was... so much harder than it should've been. My little spider did work out in the end, but she's... eternally in threat posture.

Here is a random origami story
Once my friend almost broke this cool dragon origami that took almost an hour to make because it was just an impulsive move that any child would make. (He slapped it out of my hand) then i noticed when i picked it up, that the head of the dragon was all crumpled and out of shape and i got so angry that I accidentally said YOU MOTHERFUCKER in front of the whole class and the teacher heard it to... so... you know what happened. I didn’t talk to that friend for the rest of the day.

It was all good until 'repeat on the other sheet' showed up.

Great tutorial, immediately tried it. I like Spider Origami because it often has some difficulties in it reasoned by the 8 legs and probaply some pedipalpi as well. But I only know the Robert J. Lang Version, this one and one using scissors which is an absolute no-go for me. Are there any other models which deserve to be known?
there is a cool Tarantula by Riccardo Foschi (I haven't tried it though)
