I used a 13 X13 piece of Red Thai Unryu paper laminated to a sheet of standard duty aluminum foil and this one came out amazing. I am a big fan of the eagle you also make here, so this one had to be made as well the eagle is my Favorite and Ive folded it 6 times now for friends this one will also get folded a lot. Thank you for your great tutorials and fantastic work.

Do you have any advice on creating a stand for this phoenix? I like your tip about making a stand from a paper clip, but I’m not sure it will be tall enough for the tail or where to insert the stand into the body of the phoenix
I used paper from my book and i got stuck at 31:35 in the video...I would do it with recommended origami paper 👍...it's a masterpiece and I liked the art...!!!😁🔥

o yea if i use regular printing paper or some really thin construction paper will it turn out well?
it can be folded with normal paper, but don't expect great results. It works better with thin papers that holds the shape well
