Gage Powell that’s because this is like Pantera’s Mother Love Bone phase, it’s so different without Phil it just feels as a whole different band, i really like “Glamtera”, but 90’s Pantera is like the most badass thing ever, the most awesome metal band in my book!
This sounds actually really like something Pantera would write. The entrance sounds so much like later Pantera tuned up a step since they were still doing the Van Halen 80s thing.
@@godzillasimpson8357 well not to be mean but I did a comparison with those two against Panteras glam years and this just kicks more ass, and even kerang magazine called Pantera at this time the bible of heavy metal. Commercial bands are just commercial and more accessible to the public so they forget about good stuff in plain sight. In the end they advanced to heavy metal that they always wanted to do and got even better outliving the career of other glam and rock bands. ¯\_༼ •́ ͜ʖ •̀ ༽_/¯
Yeah that’s because of their more recording experience before becoming huge in the 90s. Most bands from the 80s did play a lot of gigs beforehand but only recorded a couple of demos
Some reviewers on the Metal Archives claimed this song's lyrics to be cheesy. After reading over the lyrics (to make sure I wasn't mishearing them) I have no idea how they come to that conclusion.
Yeah, they don't even put it in on their discography on the website. They said they were honestly embarrassed with their glam work so they tried to ignore it from their latter material
Myself and many more agree, 80s pantera>>>>RE-SPECT-WALK, but they dont deserve to be called glamtera, this is way better than any glam band of that era.
I saw these guys in concert - Lawton OK 1987. This song and Onward we rock. Even though they sound like light hair metal compared to "Cowboys.." you can tell watching them they are very talented. This was just the influence of the mid 80s
If you asked a group of 50 people what the first Pantera album is, 45 of them would say cowboys from hell...

Pantera was never a glam band
You're probably right, i'm a fan of Pantera and i've never heard of them before cowboys from hell
@@petejones8862 I;m the fan of Glamtera.
This song sounds like it should have been on a soundtrack from an unreleased 80s slasher horror film that never existed.
Haha…right!! Or a Monster horror film
more then one
This could be a song in Friday the 13th part 8, jason rides a boat
This track and Forever Tonight are my favorite tracks from this album. If the production was better this album could have been bigger...
+jacobson084 oh bro you simply cannot forget come on eyes. those solos are screamers
Another thing that would have helped is if they had booted Glaze and found Phil right after Projects in the Jungle.
@@Celio19891 how bout fuck you, i like Glaze
@@Celio19891 glaze sounds great on come on eyes, think he should have even stayed on power metal!
@@smitty1647 same, Glaze is awesome.

Yeah. And I mean they beat Cinderella and other 80s glam bands, they had some powerful balance.
Hey Cinderella is a bluesy band, they just used the makeup to get the deal.
Although they were better than Motley Crue by a long shot

I'm honestly surprised they didn't get famous in their glam rock days
This is my favorite "Glamtera" song.
Onwards We Rock is easily on the same level
Awesome song and album! I think that more people should get to know this album along with Power metal
And projects in the jungle and metal magic 👌
@@montgomeryward9952 Of course!
