Batman didn't have no movies beforehand for us to get acclimated to him. No time to let us love each character. Kinda just introduces Wonder Woman without a movie first. Like damn, dude was trying to speedrun a cinematic universe. Now it's practically dead, no reason to care for the overarching dceu storyline

In terms of movie structure I agree with Superman being equivalent to Ironman and Batman being equivalent to Captain America. However with their character I believe that Batman is equivalent to Ironman and Superman is equivalent to Captain America.

I fully agree. Structurally, Superman is the anchor (like Iron Man). In terms of themes, Superman is the moral compass (like Captain America).

I think a better way would be to have Dr. Fate as the Dr. Strange counterpart, and then have Shazam as the Spider-Man counterpart. Superman would act as a mentor much like Iron man.

Haven't watched this yet, but tried to do a list like this. When you start hitting the TV show side of things, it becomes really fun to plan stuff. Runaways = Teen Titans and stuff like that.

I started with batman so it starts grounded and end with bruce Wayne dying saving his fellow heroes who are all gods compared to him and it would be his redemption from the tower of Babel movie.

You could honestly follow the pattern introduce a hero here give a hero a sequel there I mean if you wanted to continue the story after Bruce's death have dick take up the mantel as batman and Damian as robin or a time jump and Damian is the new batman and even more in the future a batman beyond movie
In where bruce may have come back some where In the time line or have dick Grayson or Damian wayne teach Terry to became batman.
It's a good idea but I think you have to much in the first phase I feel like it should just be a solo film introducing all 7 of the league and have all 7 hint and lead towards an 8th film being justice league

I gave green lantern and green arrow a trilogy because it would be based on the o'neil and Adams comics and you could switch out green lanterns maybe it might be hal Jordan or John Stewart since John actually made his debut in those comics.
I didnt really give any female characters their own movies since the list was kinda getting long and since most would be featured in other movies and at the last movie you would have all the dc heroes working together like in marvels avengers endgame or the justice league unlimited cartoon.
In my humble opinion, I think, that the whole DCCU, should've been founded by a simple mortal, - Batman as he is, - without any powers and sorcery, weak and disabled to help everyone, but still has his own intelligence, knowledge and experience to be able to fight, as he can, any threat that he meets; like any other, like all of us, but deeply damaged inside, he finds his way to be a Symbol, a Nightmare and a Hero. The second movie should've been about a God among us, mortals, that never asked to have those incredible abilities; like in Snyders movie, he tries to find himself, tries to find answers on his questions, and then, at the end, finds them, - he becomes a *Man of Steel.* The third movie should've been about Diana, a young princess of Themiscyra, that helps saving a man from a battlecrash in 1944; never seen before a man, she tells him where he lands and asks him to describe the outer world, but her mother and Queen decides to imprison him, which leads us to the main plot of the whole story - she tries to help Steve, but finds out a terrifying secret that everyone tried to hold from exposing, a grave full of skeletons, male kid skeletons; she regrets her past, flees with Steve from the Island and, because she is deeply traumatised, she tries to help everyone to end the WW2, to end this hell, by killing Ares.
All those movies about The Big Trinity, can be connected to each other by simple adding comeos and dialogues throughout the movie sentences that could tell us more about worlds lore and history; interesting details on the background, or like Snyder did by just showing us a few members of the future Justice League.

Really, the biggest problem I had with DCEU, aside of some creative choices, is the freaking structure. We got Superman movie, than crossover movie with new Batman, than spin off movie with villains, than Wonder Woman and than Justice League (with no Green Lantern, grrr) and we still didn't got Batman movie before JL and he despite better introduction before meeting Superman.
Personally, I alreadynhad plan how to better structure, but here's my idea. If WB really wanted their own DC universe as quick as possible, they should have start with Justice League. I know the argument is "but in Avengers they setted up every character before teaming up", and yes, but it's not like it's impossible to make a team movie where all characters debut and established the universe. Guardians of The Galaxy did it bruh Into The Spiderverse technically eventually did it as well.
So, just start with Justice League and than do spin off from that and over all making whatever movie you want.

Either thery should have started with a team up movie or think for a sequel for the Man of Steel and a standalone Batman movie but some creative choices are so fucked up , that it ruined the DCEU
I think the argument against Justice League and in favor to Guardians and Spiderverse is that we all know there won't be spin-offs from those. Justice League has Superman, Batman, Aquaman, etc., those have to be done outside the Justice League. Guardians only really needs itself, the same with Spiderverse. I'm not saying they couldn't, but they don't need to. I'd love solo movies for each of them, but I know they wouldn't ever actually do it.

Honestly I'd rather get more DC movies exploring different characters or storylines instead of a cinematic universe
Yeah I was thinking of a cinematic multiverse. Different universes have different tones and a different vibe to them. There's no set style for the movies, it kinda acts like an all you can eat buffet for the fans to pick what they want and some universes can merge and collide but only when necessary and on rare occasions. Or doing things Pixar style and just doing movies with letting fans connect the movies if they want them to. What your audience can imagine is often much better than what you can imagine.
@@jeremiahnsube372 The possibilities of using a multiverse to get more stories is something I hope DC does and even Marvel too. Imagine an Ironman movie with Tony taking on A.I.M or a Superman movie involving just Darkseid and the New Gods.
@@SuperSteph5 not darkseid, I feel he's better as a hero team (like the Justice league) villain than a Superman villain, he has Brainiac though. Also there has to be an emphasis on giving villains movies (not all villains obviously).

Hard agree, I think they should have gone an occasional in universe self contained story to a team up maybe every 5-7 years then fill the rest of the slots with fun as fuck elseworld stories that NEVER cross over
I feel like Bruce being dead could make a good ark for Damian as he comes to terms with the fact that his dad is dead before he ever met him and learning about Bruce through stories from everyone else. It could also create an arc of him trying to live up to his father's legacy and being batman before excepting that Tim is Batman and he would settle into the role of Robin
How would you fit in him eventually joining the Leauge of Shadows into that specific form of the character? He doesn't want to be Robin or be a second best to someone that isn't even his father?
The funniest thing about this universe would have been that more than half the people resurrected at the equivalent of the Endgame battle would be members of the Suicide Squad. Like, imagine if Dr. Strange opened the gates, and instead of Spider-Man or Black Panther walking out, it was Captain Boomerang and Slipknot, the 'man who can climb anything'. That'd be hilarious

I think current DCEU structure is not bad but it needs shaping -
1.Start with MOS than a Batman movie that will lead to BvS .
2.WW was perfectly introduced in BvS so let's keep that . Also since her story anyway going to be lot earlier in timeline so her movie can come out after BvS.
3.Than do a movie on remaining JL member leading to JL.
Howere Synder's Justice League seems to work even without any solo movie with Flash and Cyborg before hand but the movie probably had to be broken down into 2 parts to meet the screentime. So in btw the JL part 1 and 2 release Aquaman, Flash and Cyborg.
The major issue with DCEU is not rushing but not making a clear plotline that will lead to JL. WB could hv easily made a proper DCEU with few movies that even before MCU reached Endgame .

This is a great list, a great plan for what could have been a great DCEU.
One small change that I would make is that Batman would be the counterpart for Iron Man and Superman would be a counterpart for Captain America.
Both Bruce and Tony are billionaires, they both die at the end of the saga, so that would be the main change that I would make.
Also Shazam would be the counterpart for Spider-Man and Constantine would be for Doctor Strange, this setting up a Justice League Dark movie or TV show.
Or Dr. Fate be the counterpart for Doctor Strange. Have Shazam where Captain Marvel would be. And just have Nightwing or Robin be where Homecoming is. Batman can show up to help Nightwing or Robin and can set the foundations for a future Teen Titans movie.
This is overall a great structure for a DC cinematic universe but I would have personally had a Martian Manhunter movie over Captain Marvel instead of Birds of Prey.
Martian Manhunter and Captain Marvel are both characters with cosmic origins and have incredible powers. They would also play major roles in taking down Thanos/Darkseid.
Dc s Captain Marvel and the Marvel family s powers come from magic. They arent cosmic.

2:06, the DCEU character most similar to Iron Man is Batman (money, technology, no actual superpowers et cetera). And Man of Steel came out only a year after The Dark Knight Rises did. So it could work with a hypothetical Dark Knight Rises sequel connecting Batman to the DCEU.
The way this man connected these movies is literally genius!
Heres my pitch:
Movie 1: superman origin story where he fights and begins his rivalry with lex Luther
Movie 2: a batman year 1 story where he fights Riddler
Movie 3:. wonder woman origin story set in ww1 (basically the same story as the movie we got, except we are also introduced to Atlantis though world building)
Movie 4: a flash origin story where he fights capitan cold, and starts his rivalry with the reverse flash (we also meet cyborgs dad)
Movie 5: green lantern hal Jordan origin story with sinestro as main villains, where we are teased to starro
Movie 6: the justice leagues first battle against stepping wolf where we meet the martian manhunter.
Moive 6: superman vs general zod movie, which is foucused on Superman realizing the distruction he can cause in his fights
Moive 7: batman 2, which focuses on Batman meeting Dick Grayson, and both of their journeys to accepting each other as partners
Movie 8: wonder woman 2: where she goes on a journey in an attempt to return to her mother where she comes across several greek myths she must fight and interact with
Movie 9: aquaman movie which is the same as the one we got :/
Movie 10: flash movie where we meet cyborg, who is injured indirectly by barry. The movie focuses on Barry helping vic with his new body with mirror Master and top as the main villains.
Movie 11: green lantern 2 where Hal and the newest green lantern john Stewart going on a mission in deep space and encounter brainiac, the movie ending with hals capture and John escaping to warn the league.
Movie 12: justice league: unlimited. The movie starts where GL2 left off, with Stewart warning the league of brainiacs attack and the league reaching out to heros around the world (with under radar heros like: green arrow, Black Canary, the Hawks, shazam, dr fate, atom,black lightning, and others), coming to help the league take down brainiac (in which they succeed)
Moive 13: red hood gets a solo movie which goes over his story and the has him go on a journey to kill the joker, but he is stoped by a young tim Drake, who encourages red hood to end his killing and return to Batmans side. Jason ends his killing but, cant face Batman, so he sends tim, whom was recently orphaned, into batman's care.
Suicide squad: same flim as the remake that came out recently except boomerang lives.
Moive 14: Batman v Superman: similar to the civil war in the mcu, the main conflict revoles around the leagues presence in the world except this time, it about the number of members on the team, and the worry that they could easily take over the world with that kind of power. Superman being Superman, doesn't think any of his teammates would do such a thing, but batman is very concerned by the consept. So the two duke it out, until in the middle of the fighting between the two, a young Boys parents are killed indirectly. Batman is shattered by the realization that he caused a young boy to have to go through, and vows to never put on the cowl again, while Superman, also shattered by the experience, goes into exile in the fortress of solitude, leaving the league with only 1/3 of its leaders.
Moive 15: flashpoint. In the aftermath of BvS, the flash goes back in time to try and end the conflict before it can happen. But in doing so he created a world where the league doesn't trust its self, and collapses letting the villains of the world to gang up and kill the majority of the league. Flash and the green arrow of that timeline work together to undo flash's mistake but are pushed back by the reverse flash, who barry has his final battle with, with Green arrow killing the evil speedster, letting the flash fix the timeline, which he does, but when he returns, he finds that the world is the same, except rather then retire and exile them selves, Batman and Superman split the league in half, with batmans side consisting of darker or viliglane hero lime him self and Supermans side being the more public heros.
Movie 16: cyborg. After all the crazy that had happened, Victor decides to just lay low snd stay away from all the chaos of the world, so he trys to fox his life with his father but is stoped when both Batman and Superman try to convince him to join each others sides.this movie is less action more drama, with cyborg struggling with weather he should be what he wants to be or what the world needs him to be.
Moive 17: Justice League 3: Darkseid shows up, and with his parademons, begins his invasion of earth. Team Batman and team superman take on the invasion, but separated they are pushed back to far. The movie ends with both sides of the league being utterly defeated, as Darkseid presumably kills the flash ending the movie with an almost sure victory as both sides of the league flee as to space, where they encounter each other, forming an unstable truce until they can figure out what to do
Movie: 18 the outsiders. This movie follows the remaining forces of heros on earth (wonder woman,katana, black lightning, atom, wally west, the flashes newphew whom flash was in the middle of training when the invasion hit, and red hood. The flim focuses on the team attempting to reach the league after obtaining information that could help the league win, and are saved in the nick of time my Kara zor el, one of Darkseids fury's and cousin of Kal El, who betrays Darkseid after realizing he intends to kill her cousin and seeing the good kal has done, she decides she wants follow in his foot steps. So she saves the group, who now have the information and a traitor to the enemy.
Justice League: recall. in this movie the league regroups, batman and Superman resolving thier issues, Wally becoming the flash after Barry's death, red hoods redemption with Batman, and Superman's meeting with Kara returning the league to its former strength. The plan now is to kill Darkseid. To do this the league will attack Darkseids army head on as a distraction, and have green arrow, Black Canary, and atom sneak into Darkseids mother ship, and destroy it, ending its boom tube connection to apokolipse, and leaving Darkseids forces with nowhere to run. The plan goes into motion but the league isn't strong enough to take on the army alone, until the army's of the world come together and, along with Amazon's, Atlantians, green lanterns, and the league face off against the army, the odds now even. The mother ship is distroyed, but st the cost of atom's Life. The trinity face off agenst darkseid, the fight ending with Superman's sacrifice to kill Darkseid, and the Leagues victory.

Here is my version if the DCEU began with Nolan's Batman like this.
Phase 1:
- Batman Begins (2005).
- The Flash (2007).
- The Dark Knight (2007).
- Wonder Woman (2008).
- Superman: Man Of Steel (2008).
- Justice League (2009).
I personally do have a DCEU structure and story, inspired by the MCU (but not similar), of my own. I'll be happy to explain and share it if people want to hear or know about it.

I know the storyline has nothing to do with Darkseid in the comics, but considering the time travel element and just that the title works, I think the Endgame equivalent should be Justice League: Zero Hour.

Cool video! I also have an idea for this DCEU, however it's not structured like the MCU although the inspiration is there. Also it probably wouldn't be that comic book accurate so sorry in advance. And last, I only made the first 2 phases because I'm not too sure about phase 3.
Phase One:
1. Man of Steel - Pretty much the same as we actually got, but preferably better (sorry I didn't like that movie xD)
2. A Batman movie - I wouldn't go for an origin movie. Have Riddler as the main villain and establish Robin as a sidekick (as I'm writing this I realize this is basically Batman Forever so let's just go with that lol. But, you know... actually good).
3. Wonder Woman - Takes place in WWI, but at the end we see her in modern time (pretty much like Captain America in his first movie). Aquaman will also be introduced towards the end.
4. A Batman and Superman team up movie - Now hear me out. I think it's a good idea to establish the World's Finest before the Justice League. It wouldn't be like BvS and Batman wouldn't have an ideological hatred against Superman, just suspect. Same for Superman. I'll have them fight around the beginning to middle of the film, but then having them go through an arc when they learn to trust each other. That will be the start of their friendship which will grow stronger as the movies go.
5. Cyborg - I chose Cyborg as I think it's too much to introduce the world of Flash or Aquaman in a big capacity at this point. However, Barry Allen would be introduced here, get a big role helping Victor throughout the film and get his powers either at the end or in a post-credit scene (basically how he was introduced in the Arrowverse).
6. Justice League - The villain would be a powerful figure first introduced in Wonder Woman, and at the end it's revealed he's working for Darkseid (similar to Loki and Thanos in The Avengers), That villain is the reason the Justice League is created. Barry would also learn of his powers here and become The Flash right before the big battle, when he'll join the team. Also Batman and Superman's friendship will grow.
Phase Two:
7. The Flash - Takes place half a year after Justice League, where Barry is already established as The Flash. Here he first learns of the Speed Force. Time travel is also introduced but in a small capacity.
8. Aquaman - Basically the same thing as the actual movie we got.
9. Batman 2 - Takes place a few years after the first movie. We're shown how close Batman and Robin got, before Joker comes back and kills Robin. Joker is defeated afterwards. Then there's a segment where time goes faster (in which every scene takes place a few months from each other). It wouldn't be a long segment, but Superman or Wonder Woman can have a cameo here being with Bruce during the grieving process. After the segment ends, 2 years has passed, after which Red Hood appears. The movie basically expands upon Batman's no killing role.
10. Man of Steel 2 - Supergirl would be introduced here and connect to the main villain.
11. Suicide Squad - An actual good movie, would be the Guardians of the Galaxy of this universe.
12. Justice League 2 - New heroes would be introduced here. We'll also get more information about Darkseid, but he won't be the main villain yet.
13. Shazam - The same thing as the one we got.
I've always thought of how the DCEU would have played out if they started from Christian Bale's Batman.
- First thing is that The Dark Knight rises will be different. Batman will not quit in between the events, Batman does not "die", but we can still keep Bane and Talia. It is also to be assumed that Heath Ledger's Joker is alive here but kept in Arkham or even dead, but copycats will arise which is the beginning of Jared Leto's Joker.
- Second is that in Man of Steel, Superman will have a trait of keeping people safe (so trying to avoid destruction and whatnot). At the end of the movie could be an end credits scene of Bruce Wayne seeing the new of Superman.
- In this case let's say that the Green Lantern movie was good sooo we also have Green Lantern in this universe lel in this movie Barry Allen could already be teased as being friends with Hal Jordan.
- Third is BvS will not happen. instead of BvS, it could be a Batman/Superman movie where Bruce goes to Metropolis to stop a villain (Jared's Joker maybe, Mr. Freeze, Penguin, Deathstoke, or Ridder) teaming up with Lex Luthor. The story could be where Batman will be able to study Superman and both find out each other's identity. At the end of the movie they can tease Diana or at least make Bruce discover other heroes (Flash, Aquaman, and Green Lantern).
- Fourth would be Wonder Woman movie with Gal Gadot. Nothing is changed, but at the end of the movie she could be hidden but feel a "war" coming or something.
- Fifth is the Justice League movie, it will start off with Batman and Superman bumping into each other as Parademons have appeared around the world. Victor Stone's origin can come here as his father would be experimenting with the Mother Box and Victor could be mad at his father for only paying attention to his work then suddenly gets into an accident that leads to him becoming Cyborg in that movie - this would happen in Central City(? the city where Flash is). Green Lantern could appear in Gotham as he is the protector of the galaxy and is looking at the Parademon activity bumping into Batman (at this time Superman is in Metropolis) and the two meeting. Wonderwoman would soon come along. I'm not a good writer but just assume that Darkseid comes to Earth (or just the other guy) and the heroes learn to beat him, Flash comes with Cyborg and Cyborg boom tubes the enemies away. This would be the start of the "Justice League" and in turn stops Gotham PD to go after Batman. A teaser for Aquaman will be in the end credits.
- Sixth is the Aquaman movie.
- Seventh is Batman: Under the Red Hood story where the police in TDKR is Nightwing and in between the events of Justice League and Man of Steel Batman could have Jason. The movie could be The Dark Knight Falls? idk lol and we can have Bruce talking with Clark Kent at the end of the movie. Or just a Batman film where it will show his vulnerable side which will make him question his place in a world full of gods/goddesses (I don't know how to word it right).
- Eighth would be the Flash movie (they can now tease the two Snyder events)
- Ninth is a Man of Steel 2, Man of Tomorrow maybe which would further make Superman a man of hope.
- Tenth is Shazaam movie (i originally wanted Shazaam in JL)
- Then we can have another JL movie, this time Shazaam joins in. In this movie however the heroes aren't really together as after the first movie they split, with only Bruce and Clark really being a "team" and Bruce and Diana being friends. This could center around Aquaman as honestly all the damage that happened in his movie would cause a lot of floods and tidal waves irl sooo this is an "Avengers level threat". This is also the birth of the watch tower.
It will now continue on with the Death of Superman, revival of Superman, multiverse with the Arrowverse and Flash (honestly I wanted the Flash to be the Flash in this but I haven't watched the series so I can't insert it here xD, if he was the one here then no multiverse and just a story with Green Arrow and Batman lol. Green Lantern movie, another Wonderwoman movie that is better than 1984, Aquaman 2, and even introduce Damien Wayne (which in turn creates a Teen Titans with Damian being a founding member). Constantine, Suicide Squad (I forgot about this), and more heroes could come and it will end with a battle against Darkseid Endgame style.
Justice League Doom could also happen with Batman leaving the team and could start with a Young Justice story or focus on side stories (Batman would still help the League but only Superman, Green Lantern, and maybe Flash would trust him)
Personally I don't want Darkseid to be the first threat, I would prefer him being the end of the entire DCEU with him winning and killing a lot of the heroes and in the next movie the heroes win but need to restart the timeline as life is not worth it to continue after Darkseid's reign.
I also wanted a Civil War style with Batman quitting or go with a Dark Knight returns storyline with the heroes disbanding. The DCEU beings with Batman Begins and could end with The Dark Knight Returns.
You had me once you said Superman actually saves people in spite of the damage, I get opinions but I don't get how Man of Steel barely has him save civilians even despite the fighting and destruction. It's why I think between the two Superman movies we've gotten in the past 20 years Returns is better

@@projekttaku1 In some ways, yes, I agree, but in others I think it didn't do the best job establishing Superman's character from the comics and he comes across as feeling less like a symbol for good and more morally grey (and I don't like that he doesn't even adopt his alter ego until the ending). Maybe I just don't get it, or something. I guess I just prefer how the 78 movie handled his character and did a better job helping the audience get to know his abilities and weaknesses. No bias because I just watched all the Superman movies for the first time last month (except Man of Steel which I hadn't seen since it first released)

i imagine a DCCU like this:
PHASE 1: focused on the JL formation, in this phase would be origin movies with modern and realistic interpretation (in each phase would be 2 Batman movies)
PHASE 2: in this phase, Lex Luthor with Vandal Savege forms the Legion of Doom to fight the heroes, Titans and Doom Patrol will introduced
PHASE 3: after creating Flashpoint, Flash open the multiverse, (in this èphase here are 3 Flash movies), the Crime Syindacate as the main villain, Justice League Dark forms
PHASE 4: Crisis on Infinite Earths (divided in 3 acts in 3 movies of 2-3 hours), Booster Gold forms the Legends of Tomorrow
PHASE 5: Final Crisis, in this phase will be a Wally West's The Flash trilogy, Batman dies to kill Darkseid and save the universe, Dick Grayson took the mantle of the Batman in a movie called "The Cowl of the Bat" who ends this universe
My idea is similar except in phase 3 instead of the Multiverse we see the emergence of many teams of metahumans that answer to respective countries, with a new cold war beggining to see who can get more of these metahumans, this eventually would lead to injustice played out over several movies.
Phase 4 however would be Darkseid.
Then although Darkseid died, the world is basically destroyed, billions dead and all that, so Flash decides to turn back in time, which creates Flashpoint which would kinda reboot the dceu
And only speedsters and time traveller's would remember pre flashpoint
The new world would have some differences to keep it interesting like Superman and Supergirl arrived together and grew up on earth together.
But the major difference would be because of Flashpoint the Multiverse was open bringing the crime syndicate and eventually to end it all Crisis on Infinite Earths
@@alphagamer9505 the first idea is good, i imagine a sort of story for this phase where Maxwell Lord became the President of the U.S. and decide to make various teams for each countries (the JL International, the Suicide Squad, the Outsiders etc...) this phase will culmine in "Justice League: The Lord Protocol" where some heroes (like Batman and Superman) begin to suspect for Max Lord, this will lead to a Civil War between the various heroes against the Lord's Teams, the movie would end with the JL reunite to stop Max Lord who will reveal to be the villain of the movie.
the second idea is too Snyder and probably too similar to the MCU, i want to make something different from the Snyder's Ideas or the MCU's ideas, i prefer to make a final boss at the end of every phase where the Heroes will join to fight him, and i don't really like to make a sacrifice for the heroes in the Darkseid Phase but after everything back to normal because the Darkseid Invasion never happen. another thing is i didn't imagine a Crisis on Infinite Earths (a massive event) without the heroes who built this universe, for this i prefer make the Forever Evil storyline and the Crisis in the 3rd and 4th Phase (where at the end of the 3rd act movie, the universe will rebooted with the earths united in an only universe with the heroes as the only people where remember what happened) and after this make a two parts movie titled "Darkseid War" (Part 1) and "Final Crisis" (Part 2) where we see the end of this cinematic universe with the sacrifice of Batman, Superman and Other Heroes for safe the universe from Darkseid

The Flash (Villains are the Rogues, Captain Boomerang is on the team to set him up rest can be filled up)
Batman hunted (basically what we thought Arkham Origins was, and used to set up Deadshot and Deathstroke's son)
Suicide Squad
Aquaman (reworking events so it is before Justice League)
Zack Snyder's Justice League (No Cyborg movie since he is so important in this film)
Phase 3
Basically every movie that has been released and a lead up to Justice League 2 and 3

While the structure would be great i think they would need to seriously rethink some of these movies, specially characterization. Batman does not use guns, Superman isn't an alien(he is but he doesn't think like one, he should be one of the more human members) and most villains shouldn't be killed but rather imprisoned or banished. Killing villains was one of the main flaws over at marvel and they could avoid it easily since most DC heroes refuse to kill people in general.
This is actually what I’m trying to accomplish, i’m trying to rewrite the timeline of the DCEU so it can be just as good as the MCU, maybe even better. It’s going to be like a combination of the DCEU and the Arrowverse that’s based off of the DCAU and some comic books.
This is such an interesting thought experiment, and the fact that it's so compelling even without the Titans - which are like the main B team other than the Justice League in the comics - is crazy. Nightwing being the Spider-Man comp makes perfect sense and it's insane Snyder wanted to kill him off.
This is how you plan a movie series, good job
This may be pretty controversial, but hear me out since while making these sacrificial changes, maybe we could have a proper live action DC Universe Series. Because I believe the proper time to make this series is:
1. Make it in 1990 - 2008 (or 2010).
2. Make it mostly out of TV series.
3. Basically have it use the same formula that creators Bruce Timm, Paul Dini, Alan Burnett, Rick Fogel, or any of the creators of Static Shock, The Zeta Project, and the movies, used in that series.
Now here's how this all would work. The Burton/Schumacher series and Nolan Trilogy never happened, but instead WB created a live action Batman TV series, instead of The Animated Series, but the storylines of most of those episodes written by the people I mentioned being produced (and if you people really want, maybe Tim Burton was involved in the making of a few), stay intact. We have maybe most of the actors who voiced the characters, instead be playing them in live action, like Kevin Conroy as Batman (and if not him, maybe Bruce Greenwood; loved his Batman/Wayne voice in Red Hood) and Mark Hamill as Joker, and so on (though I do think there should be some alternatives for a few characters). For season 1, which can be about 20 - 24 episodes, we get the general story of Batman where we get introduced to his crime fighting detective work, development for characters in the Gotham PD (including Gordon, Bullock, and Montoya), bring in a few villains and mob bosses (Joker, Scarecrow, Clayface, Man-Bat, Catwoman, Poison Ivy, Ventriloquist, and Rupert Thorn) but nobody too major, yet.
Then Mask of the Phantasm as a live action full length movie, where we can get just enough development to Bruce's origins (though most of it was in S1), Andrea gets more development, and the rise of more chaos that Joker creates. Season 2, 3, and 4 stay mostly the same except we get a much more introduction to Robin, Harley Quinn is also brought in (except during her creation, the writers start making the comic beforehand before she's introduced in Season 2), and the rise of more villains like Mr Freeze, Two-Face, Bane, Riddler, and Penguin. Though I will say that characters like Poison Ivy, Two-Face, Clayface, Catwoman, Mr Freeze and Harley Quinn should receive more development, because I feel like the way the pacing of the show, the characters' arcs in the show felt kind of contrived, because some of them we feel sympathy for, are morally complex, or have shown some good in them, but go back to being evil. So there's that and the introduction to Barbara Gordon, an well as Batman: Subzero (which I feel is better as a standalone extended episode)
Then we have Superman, but unlike the Animated Series, everything felt pretty fine so no changes (except for some of the romance and love-triangle plotlines, though if there's anything else concerning, let me know and I'll look back at them). Also like Batman, we have the actors who voice the characters play them in live action (though I don't know who will be Superman (George Newbern or Tim Daly) and Lois Lane (Dana Delany is already Andrea/Phantasm, so maybe Teri Hatcher from Lois and Clark), but definitely Clancy Brown as Lex Luthor).
Then The New Batman Adventures, where as I mentioned before, the villains arcs like Poison Ivy, Two-Face, Clayface, Catwoman, Mr Freeze and Harley Quinn should have been better developed in the last three seasons, especially where Harley begins to wake up and sees what Joker is, how he controls her and others, and what a monster he is in trying to destroy the city; and how Ivy (while a villain herself; she can be shown more to be a villain with standards) is truly the only one who cares for her, and Batman who tried several times to get her rehabilitated. One addition I will add though, is maybe an episode when Batman confesses to either Tim Drake or Dick Grayson that there was "another Robin" that they never knew about, being named Jason Todd and we get the backstory to what happened to him (similar to Death in the Family) and why at times he has his limits when it comes to Dick and Tim, especially foreshadowing what will happen to Tim in Return of the Joker. Because I want there to be an Under The Red Hood adaption thrown into the mix as well, probably sometime in 2007 - 2008 so we can finally have the character of Bruce/Batman finally at his most developed, but he didn't realize until now what happened to Jason, and not wanting to make the same mistake will try and save him.
Then Batman Beyond, which stays mostly intact (but this series will also like the character Harley Quinn, where the writers release the comic before the show). Though I will say that maybe the only change is to bring up the more mature themes.
Static Shock stays as well, with the mature themes as well.
I'm if-y on whether we should keep Zeta Project, but if not, I think a good replacement can been either a Wonder Woman series, a Green Lantern series, or a Suicide Squad movie/miniseries (which I think I think would work in the late 90s saw a bit of a new wave for action stars so, maybe if they adapt the 1987 storyline, it would be perfect).
I think maybe we keep most of Justice League and Unlimited (not so much though) intact though maybe incorporated some of your ideas as well, as making some of the parts into a big-budget movie, especially if this can finally be the finale everyone wants which has the stakes raised, takes your characters into new places they hadn't been before, gives character arcs, maybe some emotional payoffs, and even give the audience something that may have been not revealed until the end. And it can resolve any issues people may have with the previous seasons of your show. One of my problems is how they couldn't give Unlimited a proper ending and a 3rd season instead of CLOSURE; both for the show, characters and story all together. You see, when you watch a series, you all have to agree that one of the things you would want in the end of a show is to give closure. Because if a finale ends with too much open and unresolved, then what's the point? So if they need this time to give the closure the amount it will take should be about 18-20 years to take.

Honestly if the DCEU would have done this I would watch it. This video was so good. Honestly, I really liked the video, it was intriguing.
Indeed, the only thing I would change would be Constantine would be equivalent to Dr. Strange. And Shazam would be equivalent to Captain Marvel.
Imagine there's two movies similar to infinity war and endgame where the justice league fight Darkseid and the anti-life equation is the target for Darkseid
Only things I would change is
-The characters can have more than a trilogy of movies to allow for more stories and characters to be introduced and whatnot(like for Batman,he can start off like in the Dceu but his early years can be introduced in a prologue movie/two-parter just to explore more of his villains and cast of characters and show their progression from past to present)
-Introduce more characters since the current roster of this Dceu heroes is fine but compared to even other pieces of non-comic media such as the Dcau and even the Injustice Universe,this lineup feels kind of small in comparison
-Maybe give some villains their own movie. Joker isn’t in the Dceu but I would still like some villains here and there to get their own movie so we can witness their development into a villain from their own perspective like a General Zod movie or even a Reverse Flash movie
-maybe adapt some outside Dc Universe that Dc/Vertigo owns to eventually build up to the Dceu’s Multiverse Storylines like the Mcu is currently doing(for example; Fables a full-on tv series or maybe do another adaptation of Watchmen,maybe)
But aside from that,I’d be interested in this Dceu compared to the one we got.

I really loved this. I’m a Marvel fan but I would like the MCU to have some real competition because it makes things more exciting for all. But pretty much every movie DC puts out ends up being a dud
DC puts out good movies but you can't try to tie them together in your head, they have to be separate. Joker was amazing and The Batman looks really promising. Of course we have the dark knight trilogy as its own separate thing as well as all the Snyder stuff, but they have to all be separated to be fully enjoyed

One thing's for sure, I wouldn't make the tone of the DCCU so dour and self-important like Snyder did. For instance I'd probably draw upon 'Superman For All Seasons' and 'All Star Superman' for the Superman movie in the franchise. Also, I'd remove Doomsday from 'Man of Steel 2' (save him for a later instalment) and put in Bizarro and cast Nicolas Cage as Lex Luthor.
Also, for the 'Doctor Strange' counterpart, you could also have Zatanna, the Endless (a 'Sandman' movie') or John Constantine (and the rest of the Trenchcoat Brigade including Phantom Stranger and Dr Occult).
I would replace Doctor Strange with Doctor Fate, but apart from that, perfect

My Idea for The DECU
- PHASE 1 -
“Man Of Steel” (2013)
Basically the same as what we got. Superman’s Origin Story, General Zod as the antagonist. Yea.
The Post Credits would have Bruce Wayne in Metropolis like in BVS’s opening. Y’know setting up many things to come.
“The Batman” (2016)
This movie would be similar Robert Pattinson’s Batman & The Arkham games. Introducing a very gothic & neon lit Gotham city. Flooded with Crime & corruption.
The main antagonist is The Riddler, we also have Penguin & Catwoman. It’s very very similar to Reeves’ Batman but The Batman himself is more comic accurate (suit wise)- same for Catwoman.
The movie would also focus more on Bruce Wayne & Alfred. And show a bit of James Gordon’s life.
Some characters like Commissioner savage are now Loeb. Just minor changes. And The Joker is now just a live action Arkham Joker played by William Dafoe.
Yes, this would be a younger Batman. Year Two. I’d also like the movie to be like The Long Halloween, so the killings occur on holidays. I’d also introduce Harvey Dent with a minor role.
The Post Credits would have Bruce Wayne doing more research on Superman and He has a sample of Kryptonite from Zod’s ship.. Bruce Wayne has began to weaponise it now.

This is similar to BVS but with No Batman. (Well mostly.)
Lex Luthor is the main antagonist and he creates Doomsday. Superman doesn’t die in the end. But it’s mostly following Superman, Lois Lane & Lex Luthor. I’d also NOT kill off Jimmy Olsen immediately.
I’d show more of Clark Kent working at The Daily Planet too.
There would be a scene at Lex Luthor’s manor. A party. Where Clark Kent would meet Bruce Wayne. Similar to BVS scene. But that’s all.
The Post credits would show how Batman broke into Lexcorp to steal Kryptonite.
(This movie would begin the same to BVS, showing Kryptonite being discovered. And follow the social repercussions of superman’s existence)
“Wonder Woman” (2017)
Basically the same actual movie but with a more comic accurate ARES. That’s it really.
I want the movie to have a more Pixar Wonder feel. Memorable, emotional with a strong message.
The post credits would have Batman finding information on Wonder Woman after hacking into Lex Luthor’s files. Same for Aquaman & The Flash.. ooooo.
“Aquaman” (2018)
The same Aquaman we got. (No Amber Heardddd..) and yea, mostly the same I guess. Just better. With the same Pixar feel as Wonder Woman.
I’d want it to be mostly an Aquaman origin story as well.
The Post credits would be like the scene from JL. Batman visits Aquaman and offers him a place on the Justice League but he declines. Same scene I guess. But no mother box stuff.
Batman’s reasoning would be his distrust of superman. Especially after the Zod invasion & Doomsday. He’s convinced Earth needs a proper defence against Alien invasion.
“The Flash” (2018)
Once again, I want this to have a Pixar vibe to it. A sad story about Barry Allan’s origin story. How he became The Flash-- and how it drastically affects his personal relationships.
The villain can be Heat Wave (I think the name is)- and it’ll have The Flash trying to convince the villain to stop with empathy. And it eventually works. So yayyy.
As you can already expect, the post credits have Barry Allan meeting Batman & joining the Justice League.
“Green Lantern” (2019)
I don’t know much about Green Lantern. So just gonna say, it’s the original Green Lantern. It’s kinda like Guardians Of The Galaxy.
Sinestro is the antagonist. (I spelt it wrong probably.)
The Post Credits would just have.. A Giant City being shrunk down and contained in an Alien spaceship. Uh oh it’s Brainiaccc.
“Justice League” (2019)
The Justice League form. Brainiac strikes. It’s kinda like That war of the worlds episode from the justice league series.
And it has the characters properly meeting and forming bonds. Batman coming to trust Superman.
The Climax of the entire Phase 1!
Green Lantern also came to help knowing Brainiac was going to attack Earth.
In The End, the justice league HQ is made. Earth now has a proper defence against Aliens. And they have a.. well. Justice league to deal with the injustice on Earth.
This movie is going up against Endgame. So it would probably fail compared to Endgame. It should release around Christmas personally.
So it’s way after the hype around endgame has died down.
Hopefully if Justice League is a heartfelt masterpiece- then it’ll beat Endgame. Just not financially. That isn’t happening.
Anyway, that’s Phase 1.
- PHASE 2 -
“The Batman II” (2020)
This movie would follow Mr Freeze’s origins (similar to BTAS). Wayne enterprises is corrupt. Bruce Wayne becomes a more public figure, trying to fix Wayne enterprises.
This movie would feature more of Harvey Dent, introduce Lucius fox (played by Giancarlo Esposito)-
This movie would also have Bruce Wayne adopting the playboy facade after Vicki Vale is trying to prove Bruce is Batman due to her suspicions.
This movie would end with Gotham becoming more safe & hopeful. Jim Gordon is the commissioner. Harvey Dent is the DA.
Batman has decided to be more hopeful- inspired by Superman.
“Man Of Steel 3” (2020)
The US government- using Superman’s DNA. Create Bizarro. And it all backfires greatly. One scientist involved also screws around with Zod & Brainiac technology-- becoming Metallo.
Who is the true main antagonist.
Superman would battle against his most strongest opponents yet.
Parasite & Morgan Edge would also have a small role. Parasite would be in the beginning of the film-- and Morgan edge is a smaller human villain throughout the story.
This’ll be the last film with Superman. The other Justice League members are busy with their next solo films so. Lol.
“Wonder Woman 2” (2020)
This movie would be kinda like 84 but B e t t e r & in Modern Day. Cheetah is the main antagonist.
“The Flash 2” (2021)
This film would have The Flash face off against The Rogues. A team of easy villains he’d defeated-- teaming up to get ultimate revengeeee. Causing Barry Allan’s life to crumble more.

Idk. The Legion Of Doom can be the antagonist. Lex Luthor again. And the many villains built up throughout Phase 1 & 2 return. Lex Luthor wants control over the world and he’s gonna get it.

4:48, the problem wasn’t with Jesse Eisenberg’s performance it was that the character was radically different from the traditional conception of Lex Luthor. If Jesse Eisenberg were in the movie as a villain with essentiality the same lines and motivations it could have worked as long as they didn’t say he was Lex Luthor
He only became the Lex we know at the end of the movie just like Cavill only become the Superman we know in JL3 , that is the point of the story arcs , character development which a lot of people don't understand

Like how Peter Parker goes from “I missed the part where that was my problem” to “with great power comes great responsibility” in Spider-Man and how Bruce Wayne finally settles into being Batman in the end of Batman Begins. But I actually don’t see the change from Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex into the one we know at the end of the movie as actually occurring when all he does is shave his head. But every aspect of his personality remains exactly the same as it was before.

I would keep a lot the same, however, I would put Constantine / Zatanna instead of Doctor Strange, Shazam instead of Spider-Man: Homecoming, Aquaman 2 instead of Black Panther, John Stewart Green Lantern instead of Captain Marvel and Shazam 2 instead of Spider-Man: Far From Home.
Wow! I really like this. You single-handedly charted out a multi-billion dollar franchise in a 20 minute video. People would honestly go and see this in the theaters. It works, but not the extent it should. Although I like your though process, the MCU's structure and formula can't exactly be conjoined with the DCEU's. For example, despite other members of the original cast, being people like Black Widow and Hawkeye both got cameos in stage one; they fundamentally wouldn't work in the same format within the DCEU because characters such as Flash, Aquaman, or Cyborg wouldn't have the same impact. In fact, it could be argued that Cyborg shouldn't even be introduced as a JL member, but a Titan to better fit the flow of the verse. However, the first movies work with Batman, Superman, and WW but i'd switch Batman and Superman's placement and swap Superman and WW only bcs it fits the verse's criteria of a world just starting to grasp the idea of Heroes. But let's give a sampled movie roster
Phase 1:
The Caped Crusader (Batman 1): Introduces Bruce Wayne, the main villain is Ra's Al Ghul , in which much like batman begins is trained by him, but then soon realizes his true intents and Dawn's the mantle of the Bat in an effort to thwart of the League of Assassin's trying to infultrate Gotham's upperclass. We get a post credit scene of Batman adopting a child by the name of Dick Grayson after the death of his parents.
Wonder Woman: Diana leaves themyscira to fight of the horrors of man, with ares being the villain
Man of Tomorrow (Superman 1): The man of steel is introduced for the first time, in which the threat of Zod is revealed upon the world much like the original man of steel movies. Here, Martian Manhunter makes a slight cameo, although most people wouldn't recognize it at first.
Under the Cowl (Batman 2): Here the main villain is the Penguin, in which he and the Riddler leave a trail of tricks, and deadly contraptions to break the Bat. In this movie, we see Bruce struggling to be both the Bat and the billionaire while preventing Gotham from breaking out into a hell hole whilst also teaching Dick Grayson the bascis of crime fighting in an unforgiving city. We also see his reaction to the unconvering of Supers like WW and Superman; which leaves him undoutabley suspicious by the end of the movie.
Emerald Knight (GL 1): Here we're made known of the GL Corp, and their true nature. Here instead of Sinestro being the main villain alongside parralax, he's still a green lantern and the manhunter's are the actual villains. It takes the might of a fully realized Hal Jordan and the rest of his corp who still question him as a lantern, to take out the Manhunters. Here, we get post credit scenes with the mention of a scarlet speedster in Central City, and reports of a "fish-man" around the east coast.
Justice League: Here the threat of Apokolips is made real, as the New Gods of the death planet seek to terraform it to Darkseid's benefit. Here, WW is more open to the world of man and naturally defends it, Bruce is still cold and timid from the events of both Man of Tomorrow and Under the Cowl. Superman is also on edge, willing to do whatever it takes to save the planet whilst Batman is naturally suspicious of his motives seeing as more alien life has managed to gain access to Earth ever since the emergence of Superman. Flash is willing to help, as well as an unfully realised Arthur Curry who've both recently gain access to their own abilities. In the post credit scenes it's revealed that a man by the name of Vandal Savage was behind the events of Man of Tomorrow and Justice League gaining knowledge of otherwordly beings, making full contact with Darkseid himself.
