    Hi Jennifer! I have been away from my craft room for almost 2 years. My son passed away from heart attack at age 51, and it has taken me quite a while to get back to feeling creative. I am so happy you are still about creating your gorgeous cards. I will be catching up on all of your videos. (Also Gina K videos, I have been a fan of hers from the beginning of Stamp TV)
    Hugs!
    Karen💜

    Thank you Jennifer. Amazing that you and Gina made a Live Video today together - November 15, 2023. You mentioned all of the ways you use your FUSE which truly interested me. I'm New to Fuse Fun Foil. This 5 way to use a FAVORITE tool also helped me tremendously! Especially, Laminating with the FUSE! I'm your newest loyal viewer now. Much Sucess and Happy Fuse Foil Fun!

    That’s great that Gina came out with a foiling machine but I just invested in the Mini Minc so I will have to pass for now. I had the Royal laminator but never could get good results with it. The Minc does great. My advice to anyone wanting to foil, skip purchasing a laminator and buy this machine or the mini Minc; you will be glad you did. I print most of my own sentiments and elements to foil from my laser printer.

    If you peel the plastic off that background piece you get actual foil look and can add glitter of something else in the dots due to the 2 side adhesive being used.

    Thanks for sharing your great ideas! I have some of Gina’s Poly Glaze items I’ve been using with a laminator, but this Fuze system with the 4 rollers is definitely going to give me better quality. With the extra items in the box, this is a great value! Yay Gina K.!!

  • @rosemarypaul6093
    @rosemarypaul6093 Год назад

    I have a few rolls of Deco foil and several packs of Gina K foils from years back when you did a video for simple no-heat foil techniques.
    I did make a bunch of cards with that method, I'd like to try heat foiling. There's no way a foiling machine is in my budget for the rest of the year ay least, but I do have a laminating machine, Scotch brand, that I've used for years. I use it so much that I buy the 100 laminating pockets boxes from Amazon. At tax season, I go through all of our files to gather that years files into 1 accordion to file. I buy the file folders from the Dollar Tree meaning they are lucky to be strong enough to repurpose after a year of handling! That means I get a dozen or so of beat up file folders that I turn into laminated binder dividers for my husband's work. But I'm taking your tip to use them for my dies, folders, etc. next year.
    My machine does hot and cold. It does seal the 10 mil thick laminating pocket I get at the office supply store.
    The instructions on it say to use a pocket of parchment or printer paper to put thin documents in to laminate, but it doesn't mention foils.
    Is it possible to use a laminating machine like this one with the foils?

    *l hope your shoulder is healing painlessly & quickly!* 🙏🏻 Awesome info on this demo! I have an older, huge, office laminator. l’ll dust it off & try it with the transfer foils. Though l also have the Glimmer, it might be handy for full sheet designs. Also the way to make “pressed bling,” in the laminator sheets, l see my new rabbit hole just opened up. Thanks ever SO much for the methods you covered here. As always, your expert advice is much appreciated & many thanks for sharing your knowledge. 🙏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏼💖

Have used a number of Gina’s poly glazed designs and they work fabulously. Hoping the added roller(s) on this machine will prove useful in better adherence on regular toner sheets. Oh my; so many new things to have to buy to use this! I already have so many stamps that i have invested in, and I can’t see buying the same things only in thermal design papers (that are one-use only!) to get basically the same thing. And I have metallic and holographic card stock that I’ve invested in that I need to use.
    I just find this all too overwhelming, but I know there are card makers out there who would definitely get a lot of use out of this. Definitely, if I was a professional card maker, I would maybe likely invest in these new machines like this one, the Better Press, etc.
