As we play this song, friends and family will be placing a flower in a water bowl, as an expression of both their grief and love, and honour a beautiful, gentle man. I have been lucky enough to have visited Australia many times, travelled all over the country and been to most if not all the areas he talks About in his songs. This song is certainly one of his best and I hope he continues to write Songs for many years to come.

My dad passed away this morning after a long illness. Even though it wasn't unexpected it is still upsetting. Nothing much is making me smile today. I was listening to this song on my laptop and it makes me feel better about his passing even though I wasn't really close to him.
