@@MrDavidMrIan We had hard constant rain and wind gusts for 2 days. Just a bit soggy, but other than that, all is well. Sad for no more plants tho...but you do need room for them lol, but so worth it. They just make the air smell so fresh 😃
I don’t know if you’ve seen the John Lewis Christmas advert yet, but the price of the bear ornament you got gives a 25% donation to a charity related to the ad (trying not to spoil it in case you haven’t seen it!). That hotel room was seriously cool, loved the sparkly bathroom tiles and the mirror tv combo was impressive (I love a gimmick!) - definitely added it to my list of places to go. I totally understand the decorating detritus. I’m still trying to finish clearing and decluttering to put my trees up. It’s been a mammoth project but hopefully I’ll get them done today. I need a bit of a festive boost. I so love your vlogs, they’re sort of like a hug and a mug of hot chocolate (maybe the kind with booze in it) ❤
Ha! There’s always booze in us so we’ll take that! Hope you got the sorting sorted and have decluttered and tree’d! And that hotel was awesome. Probably won’t be able to afford to return to it any time soon but will always pop in for the buffet and drink in the bar x
Love the hotel room, that patio sit down outside is great! Downtown was our favourite restaurant, Harry loved it How good was that meal 😍. Deserts looked amazing and that pin 👌 Christmas decs are coming along, I’m looking forward to this Christmas Lego David 😀

The buffet is definitely worth considering for your future trip - their coconut and ginger rice pudding has left a mark in our memory, so much so that we’re going to try and recreate it here at home. John Lewis looked fab!!! For the first time since me and my husband have been together (since the 90’s!!!) we won’t be at home for Christmas so no need to decorate the house…the countdown to WDW is now on - leave to Heathrow on 8th December and I’m so excited!!!
Our kids Halloween outfits were always a black bin bag and a cheap mask from Assa that smells of formaldehyde and has sharp edges that will cut your face. They are still mentally scared today about it.
Definitely remember those stinky plastic masks with the elastic string... was very painful when a sibling would pull the mask away from your face and the let it fire back into your nose! X
Never too early for Christmas I'm busy trying to get everything tidy so I can put all the Christmas decorations up on the 26th. Got all my Christmas presents brought now. Super excited this year as we are at center parcs the week before Christmas and the kids aren't finding out until the Saturday before we go. It's all of our main Christmas presents and a little bit more.
So much in that message to take in Jenny! That’s some organisation to have all your presents bought! Super impressed! And going away the week before Christmas??!? 🤦🏼♂️ lucky you’re so organised - we’d come back and be having beans on toast of Christmas lunch! How wonderful for you all. I was well impressed with the vegan food options at both sit downs and QS, and often dream of the burrito in Frontierland, delish ….. Thank you for sharing ❤
😮 That took us a while to get the meaning of the curry ref! 🤣 You’ve a few weeks to go get that gnome for Kev in time for the 26th now! And we think the key to window seats at Walt’s is book for when it opens and get in as soon as the doors open. We were there a few years back on the dining plan and it was great but we were disappointed we didn’t have a window seat. The window seat does make it special. They’ve really upped their vegan game at DLP a mind it feels less like we’re taking a gamble on finding something dairy free to eat when we’re there. We’ll have a batch from breakfast next time! 😉 xx
In my eyes it's never too early to put your tree up. I love Christmas and all the decorations and lights. John Lewis is awesome but Homesense is still my favourite. If you love all the decorations, try Keydell Nurseries in Waterlooville. Quite expensive but lovely to have a wander and they even have a coffee shop. If you do go though, I would avoid the weekends at all costs! x

But I’m still not camp enough to buy Martha Stewart home wear 😂😂😂😂

Hello both... we have had a Disney tree previous years, but we wanted to do something a bit different this year. But rest assured we do have a fair few Disney tree decorations for future tree decorating options!
We do recommend it for a Disney fix. The worst thing anyone can do is compare them as it’s apples and pears. It’s more compact you don’t need a car and it has all the Disney feels. We think the food is better at DLP too (controversial!) Hope you’re both well!
