Hello 👋 Just wanted to stop by and say that I really value you speaking about this in a way that acknowledges your privilege of being able to take the time off work. I've been dealing with burnout for a while (over a year?) and it's taking me longer to get through because I don't have the same financial/job security, but that doesn't mean your words weren't helpful. I hope your return to work goes at the pace you need it to and that you continue to find joy in the rain drops on flowers.

The disparity between how organisations support employees through something like burnout is vast. I'm not surprised that your experience is rumbling on without the right support and job security. I hope your awareness and research of your situation is able to propel you on a better path in the near future 💚

Found this really easy to watch, thank you for making a video on a topic that needs more airtime especially in work settings ❤

Thanks Gill. Recorded it a few weeks ago and wasn’t sure about putting it up because it had a bit of a ‘downer tone’ - but that’s the reality I suppose. 💚
