Ha! The metal from Magic Metal often comes out cheaper because they cut it to the inch and there’s no waste. I think it Lowe’s and Home Depot they only do eight or 12 foot sections so you’re always having to cut it and have wasted scraps. They have lots of really cool cutting tools too which we couldn’t find anywhere else. Can’t believe that bag of dogs necks was $40! That’s the first time we bought that one, but I knew I needed to get something extra special if Juniper was gonna let me cut her toenails. Ha!

Hey friend. For groceries mostly I buy things from Azure Standard in bulk and we do a lot of canning. I actually spend very little money on groceries each month outside of what we grow and process maybe $150 at most. we get most of our dairy products from the goats, including butter and cheese and milk. So the only groceries I ever really buy at Walmart are lettuce and salad makings when it’s not garden season. 😊💕
Crazy how things have gone up. Come to B C you two and then you will see what we are paying! You need a second job just to buy gas ! lol Costco prime rib roast 178.00... Do NOT think so. I live in Pa, and back in the 70's, my son who was 10 at the time and I were going to move to Alaska. I contacted the powers that be at that time in Alaska and they told me that if I didn't have a guaranteed job and $30,000 in the bank to not even come because we wouldn't financially make it. I'm looking at the prices that your Walmart charges compared to mine, and yours is at least double. For example, the notebooks are 87cents here. I could send you a case for less than you paid for the red ones, lol.... Our price for gas is 367 and diesel is 4.67. It's just shocking to see the reality of things. I enjoy your videos so much, but you can have your prices, lol..... Thanks for taking us all along. Maybe someday I'll be able to get some time to visit. It's always been on my bucket list. We have nothing to compare it to. Reeve and I are fairly cheap people. we save everything and we don’t throw something away unless it has absolutely no use left. @@AppalachianFarmstead here’s the kicker…straw is the same price as hay! Right now we feed 12 goats and bed the chickens with hay. We were really blessed this winter and were given a trailer’s worth of hay. 😊💕
