What a upset.
I mean, how you expect him to fight an Undefeated Guy with a Records of 26 fights and 21 kO's? Duarte is dangerous, yeah he need to cut the ring better and improve his head movement because he was getting controlled with the jab but, many expected Garcia to lose because he's known to don't follow the game plan, being flat footed and depending too much of his left hook, I like this fight because he showed more depth, that he can move in the ring and yeah, that scary shell was terrible, but it disrupted Duarte for almost 8 rounds because Ryan has used a standard high guard his whole career and Oscar was going to piece him up with those hooks on the ropes. It was a good win to a legit tough opponent after losing against the most talented Knockout artist of his generation.

@Ma-kf3fg strikers are most definitely real fighters. If there's a combat sport that isn't real fighting its wrestling, bjj and any other kind of grappling. There's a reason boxing/ muay Thai can stand on its own while grappling has to be mixed with striking in mma to become watchable

No. He said its harder to win a title in boxing than mma.. which is true any of the single disciplines is going to be harder to achieve world success in because everyone in your sport is practicing that one skill set... whereas MMA (see Poatan) if your really good at one thing (Khabib) you can use that to cover your disadvantages.. there's nothing you can do in boxing that the other boxer hasn't seen.
