My 2023 Verna SX(O) IVT, clocking around 12,000 km, shines on highways with an impressive 15 to 17 KMPL. However, the city mileage falls between 9 to 12 KMPL, occasionally dipping even lower. The ADAS features contribute to highway comfort but might pose challenges in city traffic.

@somup8824 First of all, there are two types of sedans available in our market. Compact sedan (sub 4 metre) and regular sedans. If you watch the video closely, while comparing Verna to other competition, they didn't discuss Swift dzire (compact sedan) but Ciaz (regular sedan). From the length perspective, hatchbacks fall under the sub 4 metre segment to a large extent. Whenever a car's length is over 4 metres, the tax levied on that car increases, making it even more expensive for the buyer. The same goes with engine displacement as well. The displacement figures in Petrol Hatchbacks vary between 600 - 1200cc. This is because petrol vehicles with higher displacement (more than 1200cc) attract more tax (28% GST). So sedans (not compact sedans) are way more expensive than hatchbacks. When a person pays so much money for a car, and it gets hit hard on potholes every now and then, the owner gets annoyed of repairing it. That's why everyone asks about ground clearance, and are not promoting/marketing anything here 😅 Knowing some ground-reality helps avoid creating conspiracy theories and spreading rumours ✌️

One clarification regarding Vernas 5 star, yes it's 5 star and 6 airbags standard but it's structure is rated "unstable" beyond further load. Which the Slavia or virtus or the city is rated stable, hyundai India cars kae oru unique enna na they compromised on the structure a bit and made the doors to look heavy. And compared to global Ncap, the Latin ncap or the Australian ncap is more stringent, eg Scorpio N under Australian ncap got zero due to lack of Adas but the adult protection still got 44pecent only in the crash test. And Slavia, virtus got 5 star specially the India made in Latin Ncap.
Haven't you read the full report of Verna?? Only it's Footwell area is unstable not the whole body structure as it scored more point than virtus slavia in side impact.....It is common for NCAP's to do this kind of things.....If u have read full report of scorpio N then u will see it was given 0 points for whole seatbelt reminder system fully only bcuz the 3rd row didn't had it

@@raveendhana7084 Verna is better than virtus/slaviya. VW cars is nowadays very worse after Volkswagen india 2.0. worst quality. For most of us 5 stars is enough. You can easily see the build technology used by by checking roof life. Laser welded roof ? Or is it normal welded with a plastic intersert is there on the top of the car. If you see a VW or skoda you will not see a plastic seem in the top of the car where body and the roof meets. they are welded uses laser tech. Yes thats why it is 2 Lakh cheaper. If you are some one drive mostly in range of 90-120 and want all the features along with good milage this is the best option. German cars are built better but is expensive to buy and expensive to maintain for a family buyer those don't make sense
