Ive been a big fan of bauhaus for a long ti e, never realised he bass on hollow hills is so similar. Theyve all got thier subtle, and atmospheric differences that make them all great songs.
Origins also trace back to "Baby come back" by The Equals (1967)

0 means open string

no need to mute intentionally

are you playing that in drop d tuning? alot of low and punch. Maybe its just the your pick technique but it sounds really good. the cover sounds great but i am more impressed with the tone you are producing

It's called a Precision Bass. You can get it pretty much from every music store.
The name is the Fender precision bass 1961 fiesta red I’m pretty sure after looking online
