Tyler, could you do another video on painting in the polar vortex? That may be out of your area of expertise, but I'm just wondering if water or oil based is better for painting a winter scene of the legislature grounds?
Hi! We asked our friends over at The Gilded Rabbit art store (right here in Edmonton), and they told us oils paints would be the best in extreme cold, but you'll need something warm and insulated to keep the paint tubes warm when not in use. In conditions around -10C, you could get away with oils, watercolours, or acrylics, but again would need to have some warm storage. Hope that helps!
