I'll be honest, I've never heard of this podcast until now. I only recently got into Jordan's comedy and considered that a goldmine, and I just lucked out in finding this. It was super entertaining and wholesome. You and Jordan could have your own podcast (much to the displeasure of her stamina lol)
That transition from inside the studio to zooming out from the computer for the pad bit was pretty slick
Of course Sara passed the vibe check, Jordan is unhinged so she’s forgiven 😂
Literally gasped/squealed in excitement when I saw Jordan is the guest!
I was confused why this premiered at like 330am while most of us are asleep, then I watched about 20 mins of it and I get it now. Smart move by Jason there.

Love this episode. First and foremost Jordan is hot. And her not thinking so is kinda hot. But she's understandably insecure. Her abusive upbringing to being heavier as a kid to that asshole(s) she dated. Comedians and entertainers in general. We're fucked up mentally. And stand up is instant gratification of our fucked up-ness. That's why the best sets come from dark places and arguably the best comics come from some messed up backgrounds. Jordan's not dainty hot like Sara. She's a mix of tomboy hot like Donna on 'That 70s Show' and therapist hot like the one on 'The Sopranos'. But what an episode. From the gayness, to the psychedelics, to the intrusive thoughts, the dog farts, the passing out. This is what comedy podcast should be like. Keep killing.

Better Help shines a light on how bad of a decision therapy from people that shouldn't be giving advanced advice can be - Basic stuff like dietary things can be ok but not advanced things!
my state has a warm line. for mental help you either call a crisis line or a warm line. crisis line should be reserved for crisis. I'm agreeing with your comment, and the warm line is staffed by untrained volunteers (not doctors, not psychologist) who have mental illness. That's so unhelpful. You wait 90min to talk with a person, state what you need help processing, and then I've gotten the response: "well, that's about 20 min I can only talk to you a maximum of 20 min, okay bye." in which case I got no point of view or help from the service. The other time I called, when my dad was threatening me with suic eyed to get me to comply (called emotional abuse and coercive control) the person on the line said he had a binder about this, and to hold. no help received that time either.
There's a big need for people to receive help from trained professions. I think the problem has little to do with stigma, and everything to do with lack of access to a trained professional (as compared to Better Help and a warm line).

I don’t understand why people pass out from paint. Maybe it’s just me. I’ve had two natural birds. I’m tattooed up every part that people avoid. I’m tattooed on, and I’ve had my shoulder dislocated. Put it back in myself. I’ve seen my friends bulge out and rotate to the side still no faint. I just don’t get it and you guys are so tough but I guess you’re not anyway, cheers 😅

I think improvement involves decreasing addiction with the same sentence computation is - I think recovery involves decreasing addition. I think they are in addiction and recovery word would be a expression of continuation of addiction. I think language can effect philosophy. I also think philosophy can effect language.
