- Anna Flyover, also known as Gemini Flyover, is a dual-armed grade separator in the central business district of Chennai, India. Built in 1973, it is the first flyover in Chennai and the third in India. It was the longest flyover in the country.

அருமையான விளக்கம் ஐயா இந்தமேம்பாலம் திறந்து20வருடம் கழித்து நான் பிறந்துள்ளேன்.. ஆனால் அதன் வரலாறு அருமையாக கூறினீர்கள் மிக சிறப்பு வாழ்த்துக்கள் ஐயா

Honestly Meeran Sahip name should be used in naming the bridge. . He saved 3000 cr and above when compared current costs.

Was a student of New College, still remember the bus ride over the bridge on the first day. Many of my relatives came from the districts just for a bus ride over the bridge, especialy on the curve to GN chetty road.

I used to live in Mandaveli, and studied at Vidya Mandir in Luz. The school bus (“dabba” as we called it) used to go via St. Mary’s Rd, Chamiers Rd, Nandanam, turn into Mount Road, go via Teynampet and then turn into Cathedral Rd at this flyover. And Vembuli, the conductor, who would otherwise insist we all sit in our seats always, would allow everyone to go over to the side facing the flyover to gawk at it. I was perhaps in the 2nd grade, but the memory is vivid😊.

Balu period no doubt I'm 65 years old.seen several things during DMK rule and history of Stalin as youth in Gopalapuram all gallata. No young girls can walk freely in their streets.
