I loved that in Four Sided Dive, Brennan confirmed that the mage who turned into a silver dragon was Bollo.

The mechanics really reinforce that this is just the gods stomping on the mortals for daring to try to be able to protect themselves from their destructive siblings.
Asmodeous going off about how he’ll hate them all forever, and the Dawnfather telling him to stop lying is so damn good

I said thus on TP Burrows channel and I'll say it again here. Nick needs a standing ovation for that performance as well as being a freaking encyclopedia of mechanics. Laura said on 4 sided dive that he knew page numbers in the PHB

Great recap!!! Thank you! Brennan established in Calamity that "The Lord of the Hells" looks like the creature you most desire, which is why he looks like Tryst's husband when Tryst looks at him.
Bolo the silver dragon was killed by Dawnfather's sunburst. Confirmed.

Brand new heartbreak theory hot off the press:
Ludinus isn't Hallis, or even Aeorian. He's the last surviving member of the Exandrian Snow Elves. He watched his entire people be destroyed in the Calamity not because the gods wanted them dead or weren't paying attention to anything mortal but because the gods weren't paying attention _to them_.
The gods destroyed Aeor, sending it crashing down into the Snow Elves' home. Ludinus, somehow not in the blast zone, watched his people being doomed, then at the last moment, the Raven Queen herself turned a merciful gaze downward! ...and saved an Aeorian? He survives by chance, and the goddess of death goes out of her way to save one of the people they were destroying while his people all die in fear and pain.
Thanks for this summary. I watched the episode twice and was still confused about the whole Father Milo/Arcadia thing. Lol
remember when ashley make a insight check against arcadia in the chapel/temple? from before that she was a ilusion, and the real arcadia was captured. if that insight check were succesfull we would have a very different Downfall...

The biggest mistake by the gods was that even when they decided to cause all this destruction, they caught themselves in the emotion and returned too soon. They saw Aeor fall and called it a day instead of making sure to completely destroy everything. They left the ruins of the city to fall and preserve itself in the ice, and now the technology that remains in the ruins is being used to threaten them once again. "They will not thank you, for half measures."
Props kinda needed this after watching so much deep lore stuff in 3 episodes 🤘🤘👏👏
Wild theory okay: Brenan insist on the stones and their importance and Purvan was tasked to take care of Tryst family. What if, they are the ancestors of the stone family, being a family of many races and coming from champions of the matron of ravens... (like written in the wiki) idk its a wild theory but it's cute i like it 😁

You know before this i kinda liked some of the gods and really thought about how if the gods were gone, then the mortals would suffer. But after watching these recaps, I honestly feel like the gids arent really that great. Even if they havent taken part in bad things, they were complacent

I just wanted to thank you for the recaps that you’ve created. I work full time and go to school in my 30’s, so I have very little free time. I listen CR on podcast due to that, and the audio was excruciatingly low even with several devices that I have tested at full volume. It’s a bit unfortunate because I am dead in one ear and have mild tinnitus in the other. I relistened to the first episode 3 times, the second one twice, and the last one once, and had very little idea what was going on. This recap caught me up to speed and then some. I appreciate you, and all the work you put into this. I will be subscribing to your channel, and im very excited to see more of your content

Yes Mulligan and company broke us repeatedly, from Noshir saying will mama take me home now, to Taliesin bleeding the juice of fruit and honey, to Nick releasing hope into the sea. Damn kids you all were amazing. It was the epic I had hoped for, I am not setting it in the sea just yet. I can't wait for another Mulligan DM job. This time I want to see how the gods fought and imprisoned Predathos. Matt and Brennan could call it 'Imprisoned'. We as Critters need that. Thanks again Luna ❤
