Can't say I love the discarded cards during the vid. Takes away a lot of the anticipation for the teams in my opinion. Though that could just be me lol
In all fairness, sometimes there might not be anything *to* show. They might just decide halfway through building that they aren't going to bring the 'mon. In which case, if the editor *had* to put a card, there'd just be a bunch of empty spaces, because it wasn't fully built
Gents, mistakes happen from both the creators and editors. Alot of effort goes into these videos, I'm sure, and it makes my days go way better from each post
Exactly, were all human lol, and I'm sure the people combining about anything are the same people who think they can do no wrong and that they're "200iq 🤓"
I'm sure that, as they're building the 'mon and their teams, they look at all the possibilities and team synergy...in the moment, though, they could definitely forget an ability (or mind-game their opponent). The overlay is done after the first part of the video has been recorded but before the battle is recorded.
Eh, it wouldn't have helped much in this particular battle, water type moves weren't exactly all that prevalent until the very end, and even then you'd need to give your opponent a reason to use one to do anything with the ability.
Fusion concept: - *type* from 1st starter (and pokémon design) - *stats* from 2nd starter - *movepool* from 3rd starter And you chose any ability from the three starters.
This was a really good one. It’s impressive how Luke is able to consistently find new and interesting ways to use the ‘choose randomized starters’ format.
The fact that Luke couldve had a speedy Revival Blessing mon in the last round if hed gone for Pawmot's moveset is a bit of a whiff, but the fact that no one realized Persian was shiny made me sad.
Next time you'll make this concept again. To make stats building be more interesting, since 3 Pokemons are to be fused, why not take 2 stats from each Pokemon.
Aw hydrapple getting regen and giving it to clefable would’ve been disgusting. But this is a ton of fun for a vid I really like that the fusions are contributing more stats now than previous three mon fusions we’ve seen y’all do

Fluffy and Fur Coat are different abilities. Fluffy lets you take less damage from contact moves at the price of being weak to fire damage, Fur Coat doubles defense with no consequence.
Here's a thought that fusing the three starters just inspired in me. It might make for some crazy mind games tactics and completely broken or awful pokemon. What if it was a "pick your opponent's starters," BUT you get to pick from a combination of the two not picked pokemon' move pools and none of the starter's own. Say your opponent blindly picked a Slither Wing but Dragonite and Scizor got dodged. All mons still get used but has the potential to make the normally "dogwater" pokemon to bring some fire to the battle. :) And you also could end up having zero idea what your opponent is running so a good opportunity to think on your feet. Could be some comedy gold in this. Lol

It would be cool if you did a game similar to this, but you get to see all your options, then can pick and pull anything from all three Pokemon to make 6 Uber strong pokemon to use, potentially.
This would be really cool if you would use the randomizer from Infinite fusion to Build your teams with only creating custom sprites. If the guess was partially wrong (one of the two pokemon guessed right) you can use 4 regular moves from those pokemon.
