I anonymously donated a kidney in 2017. The process was pretty quick. From first contact to surgery was 3 1/2 months. Passing the psychological was my biggest concern as well. All I know about the recipient was that the surgery was successful. That was all that I cared about. Take care of yourself

Great video. I'm in the process currently. I set up my charts so I can review all test results. Thanks for sharing. I know who I am donating to.

I'm so glad I found your channel! I'm hoping that I'll be a match for my cousin 🤞 I'll be going through the testing process soon

I can't thank you enough for this very helpful step by step process. I do hope the Kidney foundation sees that this type of video is SUPER helpful. You have quelled some of my fears, questions and am very grateful to you for sharing your story with us. Thank you for all of the wonderful information. Appreciate you.

Thank you for the note! Even though I made these a few years ago and (thanks to a smooth recovery) forget about the donation most of the time, it's always heartwarming to remember not only that I donated a kidney but went through the effort to make these videos which continue to help people make informed decisions. Take care!

I just want to say thank you for being so frank about the process you went through- I am considering donating and your videos have given me a lot of insight.

I am still in the beginning stages. I am praying to give my kidney to my husband. I too am most concerned about the social worker and psychiatrist because I do deal with depression, even though it is being well monitored. I turned down once before because of this.

Your videos are super helpful. Thank you so much for doing them. I will be donating a kidney and most of the information out there is on the recipient not the donor. God Bless and thank you.

I love how your testing was compressed into a couple of days. Mine was spread over several months and 7 or 8 visits.
    Great series of videos BTW.

This is a wonderful thing you did. A very young relative of mine just suddenly went into kidney failure. We are even sure why yet. But thank you.

I am currently going through the whole process in Israel.
I just completed the evaluation and also thought I would fail.
We have a panel evaluation before final decision.
This is a panel with doctors surgeon lawyer etc....
Your blog has been so informative...so thank you.
