an absolutely killer track. Circuit Catalunya isn't bad but I guess Jarama would be the perfect place to host a spanish Grand Prix, especially for Carlos Sainz jr as an Madrid born. It's a pity the length could be too short in relation to other locations where current F1 takes place.

I live 15 minutes away and I've driven my car there a couple times, it is such a weird circuit because of the slopes and tight corners but that makes it very fun and unique

@@titoshoot21 the number of tracks and international events hosting circuits in spain is amazing anyway. As an Austrian it makes me jealous.

I can tell you that Jarama is 1000x more challenging than Catalunya. However, as you say it is short and old in terms of security measures

The Spanish Grand Prix did take place there from 1968 to 1981, but the circuit back then was even shorter than than it is now. They could slow down those two right-left corners after that flat out uphill left to add time to the lap.

@@hmdwgf If you do so you destroy the Spirit of the racetrack. The petrolheads from Madrid prefer not to have F1 and maintain the track as it is now.
In any case, it is not only a question of length. There is no space for spectators, parking, nor security measures, as the space overall is limited and the racetrack is quite fast.

El concepto de la gente normal en una curva es que esta tiene un radio concreto, el concepto que tiene Tilke de las curvas soon el angulo que forman dos rectas

The rpms drop a lot in the corners with the 6-speed, surprising to see it fall all the way to 5000 rpm!

@RichieMMJ Does us a favour matey and grow up and learn something about motoracing before you make accusations like that. There's no way Chris's crash was Juliens fault, if it was anyone's it was of Chris's own doing, I hav noticed this year in Formula Renault he is a very aggresive racer and often gets a little too close to the car infront of him for comfort, he tryed to pass Julien on a part of Brands Hatch which is very narrow! A racing incident that could hav happened to any1 and anywhere.
