This game just was one big prank from the hockey gods. The Devils being unable to beat the Habs convincingly, those many, MANY goalposts, and a bunch of confusing stuff. The hockey gods had some fun tonight.

Wow, this was a long and intense shootout! Kudos to the Devils for pulling a rabbit out of a hat--frankly, I like Daws and think he has a bright future if he keeps improving, but he's not terribly great at shootouts from what I saw here, haha. He did have that one really great glove save though.

They also didn't show it but after Armia rang his shot of the post Daws rubbed the post with his stick, a la Fleury

It’s a game of inches. I tried to pause it at the exact moment he went furthest, and the puck just barely was moving ‘forward’, but diagonally.

I still cant believe earlier in the game pitlick smacked his stick into the boards by his bench frustrated with I didn't see what, I laughed and I regret it cause not only did he get the GTG, a goal with 41.8 left in regulation, he also scored with a wild move in the shootout too.
