I was actually sleeping face down but when I heard her distinctive and captivating Jazz piano sound, I flipped over like a rocket. I could not believe what I was hearing. It was so far unheard of subtle vocals and at that time I would say her piano playing was good, I think Diana has improved immeasurably on piano and now she is an international star.
to have a full orchestra behind that voice, commands respect and love for her music and talent of this magnitude!! Love her...... beautiful on so many levels!!! Seen her with just a few musicians..... want to see her perform with a full orchestra!! just to sway with this music, is just fantastic!

Ok, "tight, accurate melodic" line ... wonderful jazz piano ... definitely sexy, but "beautiful" singing - no, adequate, ok, yeah and reeeeally sexy, but not beautiful. (Of course, I'm female, and her "sexy" doesn't do anything for me - but you guys! yes, works for y'all! ;-) )
When I first heard this piece, I thought she could have come out with a more original tune. After all, everyone has sung this song. But when I heard the live version of the song, she really put her signature on it and separated herself from the others. Have anyone heard Diana play?? Man, this lady can PLAY!! Don't know which I'd rather hear her do, play or sing.
