Regarding software back then Samsung used to take almost 6 to 8 months to give latest android, while their mid range device only get a 1 major update. OP was quick within weeks you get update & they also gave 2 major updates.
i have owned the OP 2, 3, 3t, 7t, 11 and soon the 12 hardcore oneplus fan, and even though i know they have made some stumbles but the op2-3t era was a banger of an era. excellent vid. my 7t screen broke so i bought the 11 and i was in an accident and someone stole the 11 while i was in the hospital but i cant wait till i get the 12. still use my 7t with a usb to hdmi dongle and an old monitor
That's awesome I've got reviews on the 3T and 5T coming soon! Glad to see a fellow OnePlus fan 🫡 sorry to hear your 11 was stolen, but I'm sure you'll love the 12. I really want it myself 😅 also I appreciate the love for the video!
@@miggythetechguy all about support when i see good quality content, im finally out the hospital but still have to take it easy cause i had surgery to fix my broken leg so keep the content coming, cant do much but watch yt these days
Yeah they lived long enough to become the villain they were trying to stop in the beginning. It's inevitable, but I still love my newer OnePlus device haha
I wish more RUclips channels would show us how to put lineage OS & others so we can keep are oldie but goodies up & ticking. I love my one plus 9pro & pixel 6 once it's out of updates I wish I knew how to put such on them😢
I appreciate that for real, I just don't see any coverage on these devices and I wanted to shed light on them. Thanks for the kind words, helps me keep pushing 🙏🥲
I just got my OP2 in the mail today and am about to throw Lineage on it. I am curious, how were the thermals of the Snapdragon 810 on Android 13? With all the talk about how it was such a terrible chip, it's running everything just fine on the last official version OnePlus provided. Even while downloading and updating apps I didn't have any problems with heat.

For sure, since they were basically stock android with a few minor tweaks it was easier to get updates. I really miss those days.
For a 9 year old phone, I'm quite impressed with the photo quality! Awesome video ❤️
I was also rather impressed with the photos! Thank you so much for the positive feedback ❤

@@VENOMTECH I'm trying to ramp up the amount of content so I'll get going on that! Sorry to hear about your broken leg. I hope for a quick recovery 🙏
I just bought one of these for the collection. Might have to update it to Android 13 after seeing this
I say go for it! It breathes new life into it for sure 😁
Holds up amazingly well! This is back in those days when owning a OnePlus phone was an aspiration which is not the case anymore I feel.

I still have this phone totally working on lineage OS 20. I use only for Google photos unlimited backup that is provided on that rom. Great phone.
That's a great plus for the ROM that I wasn't aware of haha yeah it's awesome!!

I don't really know too much about Oneplus, but they seem cool! I didn't think phones from that long ago could take non potato quality photos 🤣
Nice content bro, i am seriously glad to see these types of videos you're awesome 💯 I appreciate it ❤️

Yeah I haven't seen any major hiccups or issues using A13. It's definitely better with it than on Oxygen OS in my opinion!
watching from OnePlus 12🔥
Awesome 😎 how do you enjoy the experience on the 12? I love my 11 so I could only imagine it's great!
