  • Just a tour of my goshitel (goshiwon/livingtel) in Seoul, South Korea near Korea University 🐯. Hope you enjoy!
    I originally made this video just to show my room to my family and friends so it doesn't have a lot of information about the area or anything else but feel free to ask me.
    Also, I received this housing through my study abroad program (International Studies Abroad) so I did not pay a monthly rate and I don't know how much it costs. But, you can check out the website below which is where I got all my information about the goshitel.
    Goshitel website: mb.gosi1.net/in...
    Music: Lakey Inspired- Rainy Day and Golden Hour
    Camera: GoPro Hero

      For this amount, in my country (Greece) you get a 100-sq m. (3-4 room) family apartment!

    Hey I was literally looking at this goshiwon website today and found your video, thank you very much for the tour. I was wondering if you're allowed to study just for a semester? I want to do my masters and it's an year course.. Do you know anything about it?

    This place looks awesome! I am trying to find a goshiwon to stay in that has an elevator because I am a wheelchair user. Do you remember if this place had steps to the entrance? Thanks!

    • @ninipanini2195
      @ninipanini2195  5 лет назад

      Hi! Yes this goshiwon did have three small steps at the main entrance but there is a back door that you might actually get access to and that one didn't have a step at all. However, I do have to warn you that goshiwons in general are fairly small. I think it would be hard/difficult to get around in the room with the wheelchair?

    • @youngchronicpain
      @youngchronicpain 5 лет назад +1

      @@ninipanini2195 Thank you for the quick reply. :) I am a part time wheelchair user so I use my chair on my long trips out or on bad mobility days when I'm dealing with a flare up from my condition, so I think it should be okay! The small space/not having to walk very far inside the room will actually be quite helpful to me, haha.

    Great work on the video! I love it! was just wondering, do you have approximate measurements for the bed(width and length)?

    • @ninipanini2195
      @ninipanini2195  5 лет назад

      Thank you! It's a twin bed so about 38in by 75 in. I bought my fitted bed sheets in the US so it was just a bit bigger but it fit nicely. But bed sheets are fairly cheap in Korea so I ended up buying a comforter during the winter anyways.

    Hi, thanks for sharing. I am going to Korea university next semester too. I am not sure if I miss the answer from your video, but would you tell me how long it takes from the Goshitel to KUBS building?

    • @ninipanini2195
      @ninipanini2195  4 года назад +2

      So exciting! It's a quick 10-15 minute walk straight. I loved it bc if you stay out late in the Anam area or studying in a nearby cafe, you can just walk back and not have to worry about missing the bus or anything. Hope it helps! 😬

      Perfect. I’m wondering if you still have the contact of this goshitel. Cuz I’ve asked my friend to call the phone number from their website to make a reservation for me, unfortunately that phone number doesn’t work anymore. Greatly appreciate your help ❤️

    Hi 👋🏽I know you posted this video 2 years ago but maybe you can still answer 2 questions about this goshiwon for me 😄
    1. was there like a roof balcony thing, that most korean houses have?
    2. was there free kimchi, rice and ramen in the kitchen?

    • @ninipanini2195
      @ninipanini2195  4 года назад +1

      Thanks for watching😊 Yea there was a really pretty rooftop! And this one didn't have kimchi rice or ramen but I mean theres a market right behind the building and you can get those things for a cheap price.

    Do you know a way aside from the website to contact this goshitel? or do you know an email I could use to contact this goshitel? When you lived here were they able to communicate to you in english/korean? Thank you for sharing!

    • @ninipanini2195
      @ninipanini2195  5 лет назад

      I received this housing through a study abroad program (ISA) so if there was any communication, they were the ones that did it. I only had/have the address to the building and the website. The manager of the building only speaks Korean too.

    Hello! I was researching this goshiwon and I read that it doesn't have heated floors. Did your room get really cold during the winter? Thanks!

    • @ninipanini2195
      @ninipanini2195  6 лет назад +1

      It does have floor heaters! It was really nice and warm in the winter and since you get your own AC you can leave the air off in the room but since the floor was so warm I actually had my AC on low because it could get pretty toasty

  • @nezumirrat

    How big tho? How many sq. foot?

    • @ninipanini2195
      @ninipanini2195  6 лет назад

      CUCKERBERG Im not sure, I never measured the place but I would often have a friend over and we could both more around the room comfortably. Goshiwons are not supposed to be big or spacious (since they're only for one person) but this was definitely the biggest one I saw.

      미아 I had one set payment that I made through my study abroad program so I'm not sure how much this costs monthly. But this is the goshitel's website. Hopefully it helps!
