C4's are nice, I have one with a billet aluminum valvebody, hardened mainshaft, reverse manual valvebody, stall converter, and trans brake. I never had one until maybe 6 months ago in my turboed foxbody and I enjoy it..
I was wondering about using q-tips to clean. I will would be careful that the fibers wont come off and get stuck in a valve bore etc. i know shop rags are a nono
I lost the little cotter pin/retainer clip that was on the cutback valve, do I need that? the transgo stage 2 instructions didn't seem to call for it... do you know where I can find another?
I have a green dot c4 from a 65 mustang. I rebuilt the tranny which went quite smoothly, but I must have changed something when I reinstalled my valves in the valve body. Initially it had reverse and only second gear. I could speed up and it still wouldnt shift to third. I put the shifter in 1st and it stayed in 2nd. when I got home all I had was 2nd gear, no reverse but the car wanted to move forward in 2nd in all shifter positions including park and neutral. I have looked over valve body diagrams but none as precise as your shop manual. Is there a way to get a copy of that page from your manual? I think I saw one valve that I don't have a spring on I saw that you did. I would be really grateful if you could flip that to me. If you get this message send it to daveboss302@hotmail.com Great video btw, very good information and I agree the pages should stay consistent on their direction. Thanks Dave
You must not work on cars. If you do I'm sure you have smashed a finger or two. What did you say when it happened. Ghee golly that hurt or did you say damn that hurt or oh fuck. Get a life and just be glad he put up a video to help you Mr. Farr

Were the stock springs colored also or just in the shift kit?
Thanks great video
Nice videio!!!....could you tell me how you identify the issue?
I am thinking of putting the shift kit in by 67 stang. How do you like I?
Does it shift hard in normal driving?
can this be done with the engine in the car?

Could be just as effective without the profanity.
