- This is earthing and neutral tester. This is very simple to make but its very important for electrician. All electrician check the earthing with test bulb so its very easy to check on board. You can check the neutral point on board.

Concerning EU type, where Load and Neutral pins are not defined, you must find a way to distinguish those two lines before examine those functionality. So which will be the complete solution?
What if only positive line is not working? How will you determine the status of the neutral and the earthing?
You might need a test pen to determine if Hot/Live is working.

This is not a nice tester. The red and green LED always glows together. It cannot find neutral phase interchange and even earth phase interchange.

True.. but if there is no neutral, LED wont Light up on Live & Neutral LED. Only Earth Led will light up. If Live not avail, all 3 LED wont light up

Horrible, horrible design and unsafe. Melting holes with a soldering iron?? Wow!! Drills don't cost much you know.Use heatshrink sleeving instead of electrical tape to insulate the diode and resistor. It would have made more sense electrically to have soldered two wires to each LED, and insulate them then with smaller heatshrink sleeving and then flatten the wires. He had to close the plug cover with some force and that in itself is dangerous. Theres mains voltage here, be it 120V or 220V it doesn't matter. The screw of each of the terminals is millimeters away from piercing the electrical tape shorting the leds. And use proper electrical wiring colour codes too.
Bunch of guys on RUclips do not know that PCBs exist! They simply solder they components hazardously. It is absolutely unsafe to even troubleshoot the live circuit. That apart, this circuit uses 2 leds to indicate the same thing. There were better circuits designed 40 years back even which showed reversed or improper live, neutral or earth connections. Useless to make such a useless circuit.

Sir, isme Phase aur Neutral ke liye alag alag LED kyu lagaya gaya hai ? Agar Phase aur Neutral me se koi ek nahi hoga toh Red and Green LED me se koi bhi nahi jalega. Isliye dono ke liye ek LED hi kafi hai
