Whatever happens in the last 3 games should have no bearing on the future decision at least regarding Mayo. We've already seen an extreme amount of evidence that he is not even close to being ready to be a head coach and it's very possible, he may never be. If it weren't for the premature exit of Belichick and the stupid promise to Mayo, Vrabel would have been hired when he became available. Do the right thing and fix the bad decision this offseason or else this team is going to be terrible for quite a few years

There is not a single item on Mayo’s resume that qualifies him to be an NFL head coach. He should be spending the next 5 years building a reputation as an outstanding Defensive Coordinator. If he can’t do that job extremely well, then he has no business being a head coach. His appointment is a JOKE and a slap in the face to other coaches who are far more qualified than he is.

No decent OC is gonna wanna come here to work for Mayo. Drake loves him so if it's a matter of play calling why can't Mayo step in and say hey I don't wanna run here? I’d be impressed if Robert Kraft acknowledged he was wrong, that he made a mistake. Unfortunately, we all know he won’t do this. Instead, he’ll allow his ego to destroy the team. Giving Mayo another year to see if he’s a good coach is a fantasy that may save Mr. Kraft a little face but that’s all it’ll do. It’s extremely clear Mayo’s the same man in the locker room and on the field that we see and hear at the podium! He’s a low IQ, bumbling, jerk who regularly throws players and now coaches under the bus. He’s not a leader. If Mayo returns, write off 2025 because it’ll be the same or an even worse mess. Stop the bleed, admit the mistake and do a legitimate head coach search, not the half-assed DEI sham that created this disaster.
