got a buddy who has 3 alts in his tahoe 1 for the stock charging and other 2 for the system, he has an agm just for the stock system and limitless lithium big bank and limitless supercap and his voltage is what i wish i had
@ the agm is running with the stock 1st alt that runs the Tahoe still an high output and the other 2 alt’s are running the lithium and the rest of the car audio equipment
Different chemistry have different Charging voltages. It also depends on the manufacturers. For example, if a cell is 3.2v and you put 4 together in series, you get 12.8 volts and it can run with an AGM system. Some cells run at 2.3-2.4, and you would have to put 6 in series to make 13.8 to 14.4 volts. C rating plays a big factor into if lithium is suitable along with amp discharge, burst discharge and charge rate. Headway cells have a good discharge for LPF chemistry, but not all LPF cell are good for car audio due to how many amps it can dump at one time. Keep on learning and keep bumpin"

Nice explanation boss. I seperated my audio system from the car system. Audio system on its own alternator with its on regulator and control system but i am actually running AGM but will soon upgrade to lithium, did some research on limitless batteries and think i may use that.

I have a 2015 honda Accord with a main Duralast Platinum AGM 51R oem alternator, but was thinking of a secondary in the trunk Titan 8+ as a secondary battery on distributionblock? This is for a build that shortly be doing it is about 1300-1500rms max n room for future add on
I have the same gen truck but mines is a gmc Yukon but same thing…. but I run headway cells and my headway only powers my 4 15s my HO alt only charges the lithium and my vehicles electric system is ran on my stock alt…you should try an independent electrical system for your sound system and see if you notice any difference in voltage/power just a suggestion but none the less dope set up 🔊🔊🔊🔊
@@dblovah5156 Nah, by lithium, I mean the power source. You cars battery is 12v AGM out the factory which is like a regular battery type. Lithium batteries are like 14v batteries that are stronger than AGM. The subwoofer just takes the power wether it’s AGM or lithium

@@arnicus208 it’s bass specific music called “decaf” it’s tames the highs/treble, and enhances the lower bass frequencies. sounds a little different but on a system it sounds cool !
My first sound system basic reg battery reg alternator goin 10 plus years only upgraded to amg xs power big 3 bigg amp and I luv it and a bigger alternator but tbh I'm scared to fo lithium I heard it's a Lil complicated and expensive that I can see
