As someone who just barely does Gacha, I can confirm the Gacha Life/Club stuff is kinda cringe, and that’s why I’m leaving the community once I start animating better. (The reason I still do Gacha is because I don’t have the momentum to draw so much pictures, but I’ve been practicing a lot. And I want to become a FNF RUclipsr in the future)

When looking at a technical point, fnf is just ddr with a keyboard and is aimed for an older audience because of the... naughty (?) stuff in game like b00bs and Week 6 dialouge.
Fandom
Ok... fandom is something different. you got G A C H A, weird af "meme animations", kid targeted vids and kids games. (roleplayers if that counts) this is taken from someone elses comment but the reason why kids like the game is because it has a kid friendly art style or something like that.
mods
mods are GREAT! (sort of) they do have a big inpact on the community itself but sometimes in a bad way. like Vs Sonic EXE (you will be remembered. ;( ) and how it was basically a giant behemoth of "oh remember this old shitty thing we made a mod of it and made it relevant." it was one of the biggest mods for the fnf fandom with the 3.0/4.0 update supposed to have more than 50 songs! but sometimes there is a dark side.
LEAKERS >:(
when there is a new or popular mod scedueled for a release date or update, there will always be people to reveal content earlier than intended. (often called leakers) they cause bad most of the time, which lead to the downfall of Vs Sonic EXE.
because of stress on working on the mod, the team slowly falling apart both phisically and mentaly, and LEAKERS (i will never forgive them) the mod had to be canned.

when a game comes out and is popular, there is bound to be people who make kids content about it. (IM LOOKING AT YOU GAMETOONS AND HORNSTROMP) in summary, it sucks.

aka BANISHED PEOPLE/CHARACTERS/MODS
lets talk about the elephant in the room, Faker/EXE and Revie. Faker was a scrapped character for Vs EXE and was removed for the creator, Revie, doing some bad things. there was also a mod for a character who was called sky but was revived later on.
Conclusion
in the end, fnf is a mixed bag. It can be good or bad. you can like it or not but the game will always be relevant for a while.
