Yes it was. Darja knew it. That’s why her score is lower than usual. She had many mistakes at the AA final. Ribbon. Hoop. Clubs. That’s why she lost the Gold medal. Actually she would win the AA title. Without the mistakes her scores would be higher than Raffaeli and Stiliana. She is the favorite for a gold medal at the Olympics if she doesn’t make any mistakes.
I have a question: Because of the Russian gymnasts I got used to the gymnasts throwing both clubs (I mean high throws). Watchting this routine I wonder whether those throws are just very difficult to do or whether clubs are simply not Darias strongest apparatus? Or is it maybe that those high double throws don't score as high anymore?
@@neutronhrWhat I can tell after Paris it seems that she can make a dozens of mistakes, have a lifeless and uncreative expression, have high difficulty what she cannot live up to and still win olympic gold. As a german I have to say it is a shame and always will be. I am disappointed of this sports development, no matter how beautiful and straining it is. I thought after Kabaeva won over Tchachina with three mistakes I thought this stupid difficulty rank would be improved. So something like this won't happen again. Then in Rio 2016, twelve years later, Kudryatseva lost for one club drop, because Mamun came through without any mistakes. That was acceptable and right so, even if it was a though decision. But now 8 years later I am angry. Yana lost her gold for ONE mistake after being flawless and technically brillant. And Varfolomeev does anything wrong she could do wrong, starts from qualification and wins? I am sorry, but this is a disappointment in the judgement system, not for the athlete, who only wanted to represent her country. This competition wasn't a win, it was a huge loss for the sport.
LOVE HER! 💜💜💜 GO DARJA!
A melhor! ❤
1:31 that sure looks like a drop, but good enough save that it's hard to tell... possibly the judges didn't see it

Viva gymnastica de Rusia!
Победа заслуженная, не факт, что лала смогла бы обыграть ее
