Something spooky in the universe.. Lauren, who professes to abhor backpacks, posted an AbleCarry (great EDC brand) backpack review and I, who swore I would never ever go back to wheels on LUGgage purchased a hard side trunk carry-on with wheels 🤔
I recently got two Portland Gear backpacks. One in Standard size and one in Compact size. I like that they have the 'doctor's bag' style opening at the top. They also have two water bottle pockets and a trolley sleeve. Will try one next month when I have a trip planned!
Awesome, let me know! I don’t typically like doctor bag openings, as it takes away from packing space, but I have been curious about their brand and products!
Thanks for this wonderful comparison review. One thing you could highlight is that the key leash can be removed and moved to other locations in the bag where they provide daisy-chain loops for that purpose, like in the external slip pocket. No other brand provides this, I believe.
Awesome video! I have the Thirteen Daybag in the exact same color and material and I love it. Super comfortable as an EDC and the hidden card slot on the straps is surprisingly super useful!
I absolutely love watching your videos and seeing how things fit in your bags and how backpacks look on you. I, too, am a 2X and close to your 5’10”, if only off by 1/2”. It gives me a really good idea how my own items will fit in a bag and how it will look when I carry something. Not a lot of women review items that I’d want and some who do reviews of things I’d like are five foot nothing or a size Negative Two and therefore just not someone I can identify with.
Out of curiosity -- have you reviewed the Calpak Terra Laptop Duffel Backpack? It's quite pricey by my standards but I decided to go with it as my personal item bag because it looked great with all the pockets, plus I loved the colors it comes in (and I used a promo code that took around $25 off the price LOL). I will be using it for the first time on my trip to Mexico City in about a week! Just wondering if you've tried it and if so, what are your thoughts on it as a personal item bag?
I haven’t, because I have never found that brand to be good quality. It always seems to break for me and others that have tried it. Their luggage is actually the reason I started this channel, when it broke on my honeymoon! But let me know how you like it and how it holds up!
I recently bought a new Travelon backpack or I might be interested in these. I bought a Cincha strap to be able to attach it to my carryon. Have you ever had any problems with your Tripped liquids bag on an international flight?
Sounds like a great combo! And I always have that liquids bag packed, but there have been a few airports here and there that make you transfer everything into their own baggie instead. if thats the case, I just move them over while in line. I believe it happened in Istanbul and a few spots in Europe.
@@ItsTheKellysI think any manufactured liquids quart bag can have these issues. I always keep a couple of quart Ziploc bags rolled up in rubber band in my bag and will often switch over depending on the airport. I've actually had airport personnel tell me my NiteIze is a really cool liquids bag but it's hard for them to open if necessary. That's the point! Why would you have a liquids bag that could open easily! Good old Ziploc to the rescue!

@@IntriguedLionessYes !! I bring extra ziploc quart bags with me. You never know when a zipper will break , or something will spill and your baggie is full of shampoo or whatnot. They are also very slim, less bulky than a toiletry bag.
Let’s talk personal item backpacks! What features are you looking for in your personal item backpack?

Haha! But to be fair, I adore personal item backpacks, just not carry on ones! What did you buy?!?!
Love to see this. I am way off in the carry community and I rarely get to see women review companies like Able Carry. Thanks so much
So glad I could represent! 🩵

I’m very curious about those bags. Please come back with a review! 😊

Appreciate the review. I’m on the hunt for a good personal item backpack for international travel and short domestic ones.
We hope you find something perfect for you!
Oh, I thought you were going to review the Daily Plus. Hope you review that one pretty soon.
I believe it was a little too big for all personal items and that was why I chose against it

Which portable charger do you have and will it work on an Android? Thank you
This is my favorite. It’s a beast and will charge a phone about 6-7 times before needing to charge it. And yes, android friendly. amzn.to/3zek1go
I love you so much
