I can’t even create my comment because I only listen to good reactions and solid artist. Ren has been diagnosed with many issues, but as a psychiatric and neurodevelopmental specialist it’s pretty clear that Karen has mild-moderate ADHD and non-clinical anxiety (once treated for ADHD). But stop taking anti depressants, that’s what fucks up hormonal balance and emotions x

I'm obsessed with reactions to Ren. BUT, there has become this 2nd level to my passion. Reactors, reacting, to their loved ones, reacting to Ren. If you want to see Ren’s version of the UK his retake of Bittersweet Symphony is legendary. The Verve, who originally recorded the song he rapped his own lyrics over were so impressed they gifted him a rare guitar from their collection. 💜 Ren is proud of his heritage & yet not afraid to criticize parts of it either.
I love this. Tbh I was a little worried at first when she was gonna watch back on 74 because sometimes when reactors bring in their partners or friends they act weird 😭 but you of course are yourself and reminded me again why you’re in my top 3 favorite reactors (you, Anthony ray and Ray Vibes are equally my fav 3). So the two specific references you probably missed are -
1 - "the car park in Primark"
So first off, parking lot as you'd say? Primark is a clothing shop on the high street (main shopping street of any town) that sells low to mid range clothing, usually made in a Bangladeshi type clothes factory. It's "affectionately" known also as "Primarni" - as in a contraction of Primark and Armani. The car parks of Primark are sometimes a hang out for a smoke up.
2 - "jamming Django Reinhardt"
Jean "Django" Reinhardt (1910-1953) was a Romany Belgian Jazz Guitarist and composer. He was one of the first major jazz talents to emerge in Europe and has been hailed as one of Jazz's most significant exponent. He briefly toured the United States with Duke Ellington's orchestra in 1946.
Reinhardt recorded over 900 sides in his recording career, from 1928 to 1953, he was extremely prolific and it's here that you can see the audio influence of Ren's parents musicality on him growing up. You can also hear it in some of his guitar tracks and playing style.
My dad had a couple of Reinhardt LPs in his collection. There's an anthology of his work called "Intégrale Django Reinhardt" which spans 20 double CDs!
Reinhardt's most famous track is called “Minor Swing” (1937)

As for the colour of the smoke from the flares, the two major colours of the Welsh flag are Red (Dragon) and Green (hills) (as well as white), so it's a homage to that.
On the beatboxing lead out of the song when he pulls the hood on his hoody, he pulls a nodding to the camera, then a left, then a right? I think this is an unofficial nod tip to Mr Oizo (Wazzo) and his track "Flatbeat" as the bass style of The Hunger is very close to it or influenced by it. The main focus of the video is a little yellow puppet called "Flat Eric", being a music producer.

This was on my Playlist every day last year when i 1st discovered Ren. I love watching people discover the genre that is "Ren". It blows me away every single time! He reminds me of Ronnie radke, you can't just put him in one box and categorize him in one genre. Truly an amazing artist.

Yeah! We are going to figure that out! Even if I have to buy a separate camera. We can’t get it to not auto focus. We know it’s annoying. It will be fixed 😊. I have to lean up because she taps me on my arm when she wants me to pause. She can’t reach. 😊
