There’s a such thing called “inclusive modeling”. Ie overweight models, disabled models, minorities etc. You don’t have to be stunning to get a modeling contract especially in 2023
yeah I've seen it its pretty disrespectful to actual models though who've had to starve down for their position. While actual models have to have a diet to get a job, but the obese models can eat whatever they want and still get the same job. Just unfair tbh
@@rinnnnnnn. It’s not really unfair. It’s different trajectories in the modeling industry. It’s room for everyone in 2023 tbh. If you want to pursue the more conventional, traditional modeling route then you can do so. If you want to pursue the more unique, distinctive route then you’re free to do so. The modeling agencies have made it easier to become a model. You still have the traditional models in today’s age, with the addition of the quirkier models. Honestly this is the best times to become a model if you’re interested in doing so
when u think of a model u think of someone very attractive (traditional models). Someone who looks better than the avg guy/girl. The "unique" part of modelling is a way to try and be inclusive for avg looking or "unique" models like u said.@@sheldongreene8366

As someone who's done a little modeling I'll lyk, you might already know this, but the modeling industry can have some unrealistic standards and toxicity for even the best models. Just know before you commit there are cons too it, good luck though👍
He said the best way to start is to go to open calls so you should look up open calls for your area and start off there but like the other person that replied to you said, beware of the toxicity and unrealistic expectations/standards in this industry! 🫶🏻

i was offered a contract by 2management Los Angeles in 2020 and went to their offices and youre absolutely right their office gives you that "i made it feeling" didnt sign with them for weird reasons but they did seem cool

i looked over their contract and asked them to add their office address and contact info and they ghosted to which i followeed up and due to these requests they pulled the contract. very weird practice@@Selfpaidswipe

i literally replied look up i mentioned it. After looking over the contract which i was sent twice, i asked them to add their contact info and office address to the deal as that information was missing and a viable business would have no isssues adding that they ended up rescinding my offer after i made those requests. didnt matter i signed with a different agency anyway@@user-mz6cm5zk8u
