- Let's make a coffee table book is a series combining the things I use in my lap books, journals, glue books etc. We are going to make a book that can be set out in your home for the whole family or group to enjoy together. It can make a great gift too :) I hope you enjoy this journey :) amy

This is a brilliant way to get the whole family involved with your junk journal. Wouldn't it be fun to put this out during the holidays when everycomes together? This kind of journal would become a family treasure! And thanks for continuing with your videos--I know it must be hard to do this in addition to your new job.

I love this idea! Making one for newlyweds might be a nice gesture. Early in my marriage, we had lots of company and having something interactive to do while waiting for dinner or other dinner guests would have been good fun. Thanks for sharing 😊

This reminds me of a gift I made for my daughter when she moved to NYC… a guest book the size of a coffee table book. All their artsy friends drew pictures in it.

Love this idea! I've been gathering ideas for a book about random changes we've seen over the last 50-60 years - from little things like "stockings" to pantyhose to no hose; manual typewriters to Iaptops; etc. But doing a book that others could add to would be awesome.

Happy New Year, Amy! 🎉 I love this idea! 😍I think including photos is a great idea, perhaps to showcase photos of events that include your house guests-like a story of your home and the things you celebrate. Best wishes for the New Year!!! So nice to see you are back. What a wonderful idea for the old coffee table books. I still have my Christmas ones out which are recipe books. However, I did have my art book on my so called table and my grandson who was 2 1/2 at the time was looking at it and lol at the picture. It was a very abstract page where I cleaned my brushes on - he said there's a giraffe and a big elephant!!! We ended up going through the book and in the end we added some of his artwork to my book. Oddly enough my grand-daughter who is now 15 and really draws beautifully once did that in my other art book when she was about 4 and every time she came she would add a message or picture. So if you do leave out your art books, you might get a nice surprise to keep!!!

The cover on your Richard Scarry book might be considered a library rebind to make it more durable for library use. That first colored page is part of the end papers. It usually matches the inside of the cover. Some times they are wonderful prints. This is a amazing idea and I am excited to make my own and work along with you.💜🐞
