The Oswego (NY) Lighthouse Walk

The walk out, along the 2,000-foot long break wall that protects the Oswego Harbor from Lake Ontario, to the Lighthouse. Surprisingly, many who live in town or attend college at the State University never make the 45-minute trek out to the lighthouse.

I'm from Fulton originally but have lived in Tucson, AZ the last 30 years or so.... I scramble out to the lighthouse every time I'm home.
It's such a treat. Those slippery, slimy rocks.
It's a hoot. Here in the desert, we can't imagine a freshwater lake. We have Lake Roosevelt, nothing like Ontario.
The history of the light house is amazing.
So glad to call that place home....!
