I used to stream fairly regularly and my longest ended up being a 7 hour long Firered Nuzlocke. I currently work a fairly physical 9-5 job and i gotta say streaming is so easy relative to my current work, but coming up with interesting content and trying to keep a stream alive with few to no viewers is very mentally exhausting
Tbf to Vedal, his streaming career in a lot of ways is comparable to many programming jobs, outside of the freedom of it being his own business. But this also means he has the freedom and motivation to program passed normal 9-5 working hours to get something done for a stream or an update for Neuro, ect. He can work non-stop for days if he really wanted to, or not work for days. But he has done a lot for his stream and AI, even if he does have some help. He is running a programming business, when most any other streamers, it is really just streaming. At least I'm assuming all this. For all we know, Alex has been programming everything since he joined in with Vedal LUL.
I mean for vedal it's different from most vtubers. He's been programming all these time and also entertaining viewers. Even though he has helpers in coding, he seems to do all of the important stuff and it's not a low amount of work for sure. He definitely has the right to say it's a tiring job, both mentally and physically.
This shows so much how vedal values the effort of his fanbase and i also like that he doesnt encourages people to donate for the value of the money. The channel would not be the same without the turtle.
Emotional labor is underrated. In a lot of jobs, the most difficult part isn't the physical aspect, it's keeping up a social appearance. Customer service is famously a very awful experience. Those who do it as a call center employee probably have it worst, even though on the surface, just talking sounds the easiest. Streamers also need to present themselves in a consistent way. They have to engage with their audience all the time and can't appear grumpy and miserable (except as a short bit).
Idk, man, working at mcdonalds is fucking hard, mentally especially. Working in the office 9 to 5 in my experience is mostly about keeping busy. Difficulty of that is super overrated. I mean, I hated it, so I guess it also was mentally exhausting?

Vedal's sarcastic wit and sassy comebacks are so underrated.
Watching him makes it very clear where the twins inherit their attitude.

Alex mostly does game integration iirc vedal is the only one that works on neuro directly
Yea, Alex (though not real) doesnt even have access to neuro source code iirc.

He's honestly very humble saying that. And honestly, streaming is a high risk high reward job and most don't make it.

That's why he's best waifu.

🐢thats crazy
Pretty sure the exaustion must come from keeping awareness up to not slip up in the many ways possible.
It's like being a security guard in a way.
😮 analogy
I stream as my job and its the easiest thing Ive ever done, good to see Vedal keepin it real
It's only hard when you have a full time job and have to squeez in the stream somewhere in your schedule
*"My waifu did ask me about that."*

The topic of how mentally draining streaming can be and Camilla being clown themed reminds me of the Stańczyk painting
i think streaming is as exhausting as a white collar job, where it's mentally demanding.
Nice 👍 💖

It is tiring for me to watch. Let alone stream.
He lies every time he doesn't say it back.
Hahaha Camilla is... sheltered. Yes staying up is tiring, and yes anyone who has not slept before knows.

Oh, we get it. One streamer changes code while the other changes houses. Hard work for sure.
