Don't recall who said it, but some streamer said they open all of their packages from their PO box at the post office. That way you don't end up with an AirTag. But there's smaller devices that could be hidden inside of objects, and there's still tons of risks. If they're crazy enough, they might just wait at the PO box. Accepting any package without thorough testing is just dangerous, all you can do is mitigate the risks. Camila choosing not to accept packages at all is a very reasonable decision.

I understand why Camila is trying to diminish what happened, it's a coping mechanism many people use when we experience traumatic events. We want to act like it's no big deal because it feels worse to admit how scary it really is. Just a regular attempted break in right?
But I think it's important to not dismiss how serious it is. This guy obviously wasn't just trying to burgle her. We have to have real awareness of stuff like this and take it seriously so people stay vigilant in our community.
Think how often women experience stalker behaviour in normal life. People should be looking out for that even more at cons and the like where dangerous 'fans' are unfortunately likely to show up. Watch out for yourselves and your friends people.
