Another great video. I always look forward to them. Thank you. I love the way you organized your quilt along. I need to start my scrappy spools quilt. I am going to use some of your suggestions. Thank you, again.
@@tammieearnest Oh I would love that Tammy. I used to make bold bright quilts but now i prefer more subtle colors. BTW I live in KY so next state to you. My husband is from Indiana & has family there. I vote for the second Saturday quilt along ❤
Awesome tip! I'm going to Dollar Tree today to buy some hair bands for my bobbins. I totally enjoy your videos. I'm going to look for your monofilament video. I used it a ton in the '90s but not now....not sure why. You put out quality videos. Thanks.

Absolutely loved all you showed. I bought some letter size binder pockets from Amazon for my Lori Holt binder to hold my fabric. They have zippers on them and keeps the fabric all nice and tidy. I had the same problem using the sheet protectors and the fabric coming out the top
THANK YOU so much for ALL the helpful tips !!! I also appreciate so much that you are sharing Calico Garden updates with us. I’m doing the quilt but I’m a little behind and you are helping me understand what is coming up next. I’ve got the Thread O Stat grabbers in my cart from Fat Quarter Shop. I’m like you I believe they will help. ❤🤗
Tammie, Enjoyed all your Quilting & Cross Stitch Videos I've seen!!! Thank You sooo much for sharing! I still love the beauty & memories of the past. In your personal opinion please, would you quilt an old,old family Dreason Plate & a Bear Claw Quilt Top from the 1800s, maybe older, that came from an old Lang Cedar Chest not much different than yours behind you?
Wow! The quilt top has never been quilted?! I would be afraid that the fabrics would not hold up to the quilting process. That’s my gut reaction. But without seeing it, it’s hard to say.
Thank You for your reply. The material is fragile, but beautiful & perfect!!! I've worried about this for years not wanting to mess up my inheritance that I was BLESSED with. I knew you would understand just by watching your videos. Sincerely, Sharol
Hi Sandy. Thanks for watching! So far, all of the flower blocks have used Calico Cottage Days. Here is a link to this fabric at The Fat Quarter Shop shrsl.com/3zpn0
Beautiful quilts…I was interested in the house quilt left on your ladder…I have tried to locate that pattern several times…do you have any information on this house quilt…thank you for all the information you shared…best wishes and happy stitching❤❤
Hi Loretta! The house quilt is an antique quilt that I purchased at an auction many years ago. I do not have a pattern but Camille Roskelley’s Alpine Quilt pattern has a house just like it and could be used to create your own quilt. Here is a link to that pattern. shrsl.com/3ublf
Showing on the back? I WANT to see the stitching. There's 2 sides to a quilt. Why not make them both pretty? I feel like I'm getting my money's worth by seeing the stitching both sides. Beautiful work by the way.
My longarm stitches are seen on the back. I am only talking about the binding stitches not showing on the back, so that the binding looks the same on both sides. That’s my personal preference.
It's amazing.. It looks so modern. The colors have come back in style. Beautiful.
Still thinking about that Calico Garden Quilt.... love the Calico collection and love gardening.... so many cute projects, so little time..... lol!
You are absolutely right!

My pleasure! Thanks for watching!
Threads that Bind material is also great for finishing on your cross-stitch pieces!
Yes!!!
I love the second Saturday quilt - I wish I had the pattern for that.
I'm considering making my own pattern similar to it and offering a QAL with viewers (maybe 2024?). What do you think?

I like the idea of zippered pockets. I’ll have to look through our school supplies, I may have some pencil pouches. Thanks for the idea!

Hi Tammie. I'd really like to see a video of how you do your binding. Do you have one?
I have a tutorial within the Quilt Circle membership, but not on You Tube. Sorry.
Love the flower blocks! What background fabric are you using-looking for similar fabric.

Where do you keep all these bags!
Customer quilts? They are put on hangers to await quilting. They fill a closet at the moment. 😊
What is that opening song??
The Moment by Robert Miller
Why do u make such a big deal about the thread showing
I like the binding to look the same on the front and the back. Just my personal preference. Thanks for watching Virginia.
