Its like a stupid trend type of phone. Everyone in my class has iphones. Lol but not me, I have the Note 9 and love this phone to death !!!! I won't upgrade until a Note 12 or 14. 😂😂😂
sunsbookishgamesx They are both great. The Xs Max is a amazing phone that will last for years to come (and get updates). I enjoy both Android and iOS, they both have pros and cons but on the new flagship phones they both run amazingly well. Stating that one phone is head and shoulders above the other is a fallacy. I chose the Max over the Note 9 simply because I wanted a flat panel as opposed to a curved display as well as the Note not being released with Android 9 rubbed me the wrong way. I will probably buy a S10 5g or Note 10 just to get that 6.7in screen, however it won't detract from the Max being a great phone.
@DerpyDoge Maybe in the future, but right now the Galaxy Fold is too expensive and unwieldy. I hope it can come down to like ~1500 dollars and have a thinner size in the coming years. Hopefully, Samsung realizes the Galaxy Fold is not ready yet and continues the Note series until it is ready to be replaced.
@DerpyDoge No S pen support. I'm guessing with the digitizer, we'd be looking at a $2300 phone instead of the low $1980 price tag :) The Fold is a very important device. We will look back at it one day the same way we look at the Galaxy Curve and Note Edge. Cheers

Verizon allows you to upgrade after 1 year of paying on your device so im getting the note 10 when it comes out, which is 6 months away and im sure it will destroy the s10+ in half a year no contest. Who would waste their time upgrading at the beginning of the year instead of the end when technology is more advanced?

Aesthetically I prefer the Note 9. Bezels are small, the "pill" on the s10+ and camera hole on the 10 are both really obtrusive IMO. Functionally, I also prefer the Note 9; the stylus is a game changer. Yes, I do use it all the time.

I think that's a good idea. There's going to be a ton of phones in 2019. OnePlus 7 is coming soon and promises to be a belter. I bet the mate 30 pro with a Kirin 990 will be even faster and smarter than the sd 855. I had a moment where I was ready to rush in and pre order it. I'm glad I didn't now. As I want to see what else is coming. Plus the one UI has been getting a lot of criticism. But there's no denying the S10 range looks absolutely beautiful!
Samsung S lines phones are just amazing, but Note series is another story, another lifestyle, another functionality, and another fanbase. So, they are both are incomparable in some certain aspects. • I'm a worker who frequently needs a pen, so Note is surely irreplaceable by the S. I'll stick with my note 9 I had then next to each other and yes the screen is a touch better and the camera a touch sharper but beyond that not much is temping me to upgrade.

My Mom's S7 Edge cracked last year and has a pink flashing thick line across the bottom. It's time for us to Upgrade. After reading the specs, I think the Note 9 will be a better deal, waiting for it to drop more in price. I saw the S10 and it didn't look like anything special. ATT said they will be out Monday to play with in the store. Demo's are out now to people who work at cellular companies. I'm slighly worried about waiting because ATT said they were sending all their stock back next week. Now sure if this is true or them just trying to get me to buy.

My company is having a table event related to these new phone releases, and I was having some difficulty getting motivated and up-to-date on not just all of the new features, but also prompting me to learn more about what goes into a phone, such as the chip and HDR10+. I am only about three months into this but feeling more confident and absolutely far more excited. Hopefully we receive more than the E and display holders that don't conceal the cameras. Great review and comparison Aaron. For the record I sold my Note 9 and have ordered the S10 Plus 128GB. And that is because the longer I wait the less price I will get for my Note. I have always preferred the S models to the Note since I find no use for the pen, and this time around it is indeed a significant upgrade in every way.
Note 9 makes me want to stick with the note series! The one I have now keeps me very satisfied, especially given what I've heard the note 10 upgrades will have...
Ngl, I chose Note 9 as it's just better looking with old android and One UI interface. I might change to Samsung Experience as it's better than One UI IMO.
If you mean the P30 then nothing new...it will have the same processor as the Mate 20,and it will still look similar like a P20.Huawei is a good competitor but it still won't compare to the S10 (depending on the prices too)

Actually they always introduce new processors with the Mate series.As an example the P20 has the same processor as the Mate 10.And not trying to sound like a hater there but what better designs? I have the Note 9 and have no complaints at all. Many of the differences you mention in day to day use would be hardly noticed, plus you can get a Note 9 online for around £550-£600 which is more like 40% cheaper. I’d choose a Note 9 comfortably unless you want the latest.
I just got myself the Note 9 today as I got the amazing offer on my purchase. Earlier, I had a s8 and the battery was the challenge but with note 9, everything simply works well.
If you think the note 9 looks good than certainly the note 8 looks better. At least on the back,because of the integrated camera and fingerprint. This is a popular opinion and most people find the note 8's design very classy. The best of Samsung
The Note 9 can do everything that the s10+ is doing . There's no point in upgrading if you are concerned about speed performance or video quality or sound . 97% you will like the note 9 more cause of the notchless design over the punch hole so you're better off with the note .
I've had an S8 for a while now and I just recently cracked it. It really sucks because I loved using it. I know I wont be able to afford a screen replacement or a new phone for a very long time.

Samsung have arguably shot themselves in the foot (hear me out). It's going to be so hard to distinguish between the S10+ and the Note 10 now. Samsung should have taken all the great things about the s10 plus and put it into the body of the s10e. The Note 10 should then be the size of the s10+ so as to make the differences between the s10 and the Note 10 very very clear.
Well, not everyone wants a pen. I hate the note 9 I easily prefer the feel of the S9 over my big hunk of power. But the pen is a deal breaker. But for others, they just don't want the pen, so why should they miss out on features that people who like the pen get. Samsung is just doing their best.
@@terryolay4613 Have you forgotten that one of the other noticeable differences between the S line and Note line in the past was ALSO the size difference and specs? Note phones are meant to be productivity phones with bigger batteries which is why the phones were bigger and had more powerful specs. The S line phones were meant to be more for the average consumer hence the smaller size and the slightly less powerful specs. The S-Pen wasn't meant to be the only difference between the two lines but now it is BECAUSE of what I'm saying. This is coming from someone who has an S9+ and had the Note 1 and Note 3.

If you mean the P30 then nothing new...it will have the same processor as the Mate 20,and it will still look similar like a P20.Huawei is a good competitor but it still won't compare to the S10 (depending on the prices too)

Actually they always introduce new processors with the Mate series.As an example the P20 has the same processor as the Mate 10.And not trying to sound like a hater there but what better designs? They literally copy from everyone,the Mate 20 Pro has iphone notch and samsung curved display,with an OS that looks like an iOS clone,as far as innovation,i don't know what else they could put on a phone,the S10 already has kind of anything you could want from a phone

I have the Note 9 and have no complaints at all. Many of the differences you mention in day to day use would be hardly noticed, plus you can get a Note 9 online for around £550-£600 which is more like 40% cheaper. I’d choose a Note 9 comfortably unless you want the latest.

No, there is no limtation on s10.
S10 can be capable of recording 120fps in 4k and 30 fps in 8k

I just got myself the Note 9 today as I got the amazing offer on my purchase. Earlier, I had a s8 and the battery was the challenge but with note 9, everything simply works well.
To be honest, the S10+ is better but the Note 9 is much sexier.

If you think the note 9 looks good than certainly the note 8 looks better. At least on the back,because of the integrated camera and fingerprint. This is a popular opinion and most people find the note 8's design very classy. The best of Samsung

The Note 9 can do everything that the s10+ is doing . There's no point in upgrading if you are concerned about speed performance or video quality or sound . 97% you will like the note 9 more cause of the notchless design over the punch hole so you're better off with the note .

Samsung have arguably shot themselves in the foot (hear me out). It's going to be so hard to distinguish between the S10+ and the Note 10 now. Samsung should have taken all the great things about the s10 plus and put it into the body of the s10e. The Note 10 should then be the size of the s10+ so as to make the differences between the s10 and the Note 10 very very clear.
Well, not everyone wants a pen. I hate the note 9 I easily prefer the feel of the S9 over my big hunk of power. But the pen is a deal breaker. But for others, they just don't want the pen, so why should they miss out on features that people who like the pen get. Samsung is just doing their best.
You clearly don't know what your taking about. Most Note fans are more interested in the S Pen than the size of the phone.
@@terryolay4613 Have you forgotten that one of the other noticeable differences between the S line and Note line in the past was ALSO the size difference and specs? Note phones are meant to be productivity phones with bigger batteries which is why the phones were bigger and had more powerful specs. The S line phones were meant to be more for the average consumer hence the smaller size and the slightly less powerful specs. The S-Pen wasn't meant to be the only difference between the two lines but now it is BECAUSE of what I'm saying. This is coming from someone who has an S9+ and had the Note 1 and Note 3.

They will make the Note 10 with a bigger screen and battery. Probably a 6.7 or 6.8 inch display and 4500 mahp battery.

S10 PLUS. 5 amazing Cameras plus super wide angle. Video stabilisation, scenery recognition. Dynamic amoled HDR 10+, bigger battery as so on. Please do a speed and camera test between the two phones
