      I don't mean to belittle this video. The result is good. But it simply has the "Note Repeat" button activated on the Maschine Mk3, when you activate that button it is extremely easy to do that. You can do this from minute 1 of trying the Maschine MK3. With the Note Repeat function, you choose the number of repetitions you want to sound each time you press the pad, and this function suits the drums very well, that's the result.

      @@300rmp hmm I’ve used note repeat on my MPC and these appear to be all live hits. Note repeat sounds a lot more robotic than the natural roll sound this dude achieves here. Unsure if the maschine can humanize note repeat similar to the MPC but I’d assume it can.

    Sick. Where did you get that stand!?

    • @DragonFingerDrums
      @DragonFingerDrums  Год назад

      It's a snare drum stand! The full-size Maschine fits better since it's a square, but you can still wedge the Mikro into the basket.

  • @samchoate1719
    @samchoate1719 7 месяцев назад

    I had the micro for a bit and loved the pads, but could not get it to play nice with pro tools. The workflow was horrible and it wouldn’t just show up as a normal midi controller :(

    • @FREELUV777
      @FREELUV777 5 месяцев назад

      You have to use the Maschine vst, you’ll just drag everything out into pro tools to run whatever effects and finish the project up there.

    Are the pads pressure sensitive? How are you getting different intonation or "attacks" on the two beginning pads?

    • @DragonFingerDrums
      @DragonFingerDrums  8 месяцев назад +2

      Yes, the pads are very velocity sensitive! I'm using the Maschine Mikro here, it has the most sensitive pads I've used, you can get a lot of expressiveness out of it.

    • @YouTubiez
      @YouTubiez 7 месяцев назад

    Hey there . What kind of stand is the maschine on ? Looking to move mine from my desk to a stand but not sure what kind

    • @DragonFingerDrums
      @DragonFingerDrums  Год назад +1

      This is a snare drum stand! It works perfect for square-shaped pad controllers, but even for the rectangular Mikro it can be wedged into the basket.
