the fact is that over the years sonic has ACTUALLY warmed up to amy in the cannon time line, so i'd assume Sonic has also fallen for amy at some point too
I've always favored the old games where everyone could go super (sometimes hyper) because it meant that super was a quality of "chaos" which comes from the heart, instead of: "herp derp, hedgehog with rocks go brrr!"

I liked the fact that Amy's super form wasnt just yellow like the hedgehogs or flashing their main color like tails and knuckles (although i wished they were yellow too) it makes amy be a special super character being one of the other females who can turn, including blaze!

Either he's up to something here or running whatever goes on (maybe some sort of robot circus, or possibly a sort of tech showcase like those done by victorian-era "mad scientists"?) is one of his side gigs when he's not trying to take over the world.
