If they made his final fight the columination of everything we've learned from the arkham games, and included countering, evading, attacking at the right moment, and adapting to being a prey for once, Knight would've easily became one of the most beloved Arkham games of all times.
I still remember the exact day where I saw Deathstroke jump out of the cobra tank and got ready for the rematch then *BOOM* Batman glides and takes him out without breaking a sweat. I was speechless for 10 minutes🤣

Deathstroke was the one guy I was looking forward to facing in Arkham Knight, my dreams were crushed when Batman literally finishes him with one punch, he deserved better in that game, Deathstroke is an absolute badass, he would've laughed in batman's face after that punch and beat batmans ass if it was his comic book counterpart

I think Batman just remembered every detail on his first fight with Deathstroke. The second time around I think Batman just saw right through bro. Was not about to waste time turning that into the same way the first fight turned out where both of em were out of breath from how fast they were both moving, when Batman could just see his first mistake of charging out of the tank and take him out right then and there.

His final battle should've been the culminating of everything we learned about the arkham games fighting system. They should've done 3 part battles all taking place in different locations. One perhaps as a prey while deathstroke is predator in a contained map, a second where they fight in an open rooftop, and we have to counter and take a barrage of strokes attacks and then finally wait for the perfect opportunity to strike him. And then one finaly fight on the streets of gotham, gojng straight hand to hand and using everything from free flow gadgets, combo takedowns, evade/dodging, and finally stunning and subduing him. If they just put their effort into making his battle the greatest of all time, Knights ratings would've easily gone up.
Arkham Batman is something else. An absolute tank. His capabilities seem to extend wayyy beyond comicbook batman imo. Deathstroke under normal circumstances, should not be Batman's equal. He is superior because while Batman is in peak human condition, Deathstroke is Superhuman. I'd say he's like Captain America, but much faster both physically and mentally. Deathstroke should crush Batman in a 1v1 but Arkham Batman is just hax af.

Deathstroke is supposed to be able to fold Batman with little to no issue. Lately movies and games have been reducing him to an old Batman that uses lethal weapons. That’s not how he was originally written.
Good point see in the comics Batman only beat deathstroke in a one v one once or twice but they fought like 20 times and out of those deathstroke beat Batman with high effort of course but the thing is deathstroke is a super human he should always beat Batman but it won’t be easy, Batman usually needs help from another bat-family member to be at deathstroke in the comics

I'd see Slade as the secondary villain in the movie, the muscle or foil to batman's skills or something. The main villain should be someone who's really smart and cunning

Did you not clearly hear him refer to the other prisoners as less than him, meaning he would easily kill them.

Imagine after some point of progress in the game you casually walk into gcpd and just see slade waiting in a cell full of dead prisoners and breaks out into an actual boss fight

The lack of boss fights in Arkham Knight is what didn't make this game my favorite, but it's definitely not a bad game.
But rather than kill them there is a voice line where Penguin asks him for fighting tips and Deathstroke tells him to lose weight
its crazy how deathstroke was talking the most diabolical shit ever and now look at him behind bars
What I appreciated about Death Strokes story, outside these Arkham games mind you, was the fact that yea he was a criminal, yeah he was a bad guy, but as they say, he wasn't a bad person. A good deal of his murders were of just filthy people
I love how criminals get to keep all of their gear that has secret compartments all over. Might just be the reason they keep escaping 🤔
