Trade shows are a great time, lot of new innovation going on, tools that we've never seen before. I have to say my favorite thing to watch was at the 15:30 mark, where they lifted the concrete slab up with the foam product. Mainly just due to how in-depth their demonstration was, pretty cool to see! This video was simply to show the event in the case you don't attend, or maybe you're thinking about attending next year. In my community tab each year, I post links to World of Concrete and International Builder's Show for free tickets to get in, avoid paying the ridiculous entry cost.
As a concrete guy l can tell that there is a tone a new stuff l see in your video that l haven't seen or use l see similar but these was totally worth every penny
Hello sir. I agree. I will be attending the next one. I work for Gravis Global in IL. We manufacture the concrete wash out bag. Let me know if you would like to talk about it. We ship all over the U.S.
Love your content. Awesome background music. I'm from Lompoc and was a carpenter, mainly worked in Solvang (Hans Christian Anderson building) and Santa Ynez custom homes. Funny you mentioned tamping. It's a lost art and no one's does it anymore (Victory and Hause's)
I was running around like crazy at IBS, we ran into a ton of people but still in the few days there it just wasn't enough to get everywhere.. Sorry I missed you! Did you see anything that stood out at IBS?
@@MattBangsWood The Chinese booths are crazy, they copied everything, Schluter system, Hardie Backer. Slat walls. everything Simpson Strong had some really interesting new tools, I’m sure you saw it. The decking tools and the 1” lag bolts. Square D smart system. I was so impressed with GAF solar panel system. Next year I am staying a whole week and will print your picture on a T-shirt HAVE YOU SEEN MATT 😂😂😂😂
The blades they were using are below, but I don't understand the dado-stack of them.. It was 2-blades. Could be a new product that just isn't released yet. www.grainger.com/product/799V54?gucid=N:N:PS:Paid:GGL:CSM-2295:4P7A1P:20501231&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAiAloavBhBOEiwAbtAJOzd4s8DRttj6wOCyFMxB8rScPAYIEqnnGYlytgYOH5qo5oSX3iTnQRoCLFUQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
I love that it’s in January. That’s layoff season. Probably most of the blue collar guys walking around there are on unemployment! “Did you travel away from home for more than two days during this week?“ nooooope

Not even in this business but find it so intriguing and wish I was for some reason.

Hey Matt thanks for posting this. I'll be coming next year.
Hello, sir. We have our own factory in Las Vegas with high cost-performance ratio. You can contact us.
@Matt, wild concrete Zamboni. A+ on thumbnail. 😜✌️
I was looking for you. I was at IBS.
I can’t believe 2 days is not enough. I did not even see world of concrete 😢

"This show is full of stuff that I don't need, but I want"
Yep. That sums it up.
Who is the brand of tool that cuts the mortar from brick. I could not see the signage on the manufacturer on this tool or several others?????
That was in Bosch's booth, the new dado stack for getting mortar out.. Let me find a link.

I wanna go so bad!!!
Ta heck with the equipment where's the bar!
Amazing, and yet we still have no idea how ancient Egyptians were able to cut holes in granite 4 thousand years ago before the wheel was invented.

Matt Bang Concrete?
Is there any irony that the whole surface under the stands or stall/sections is cracked to duck?? Organisers pitching for resurfacing next year?🤔🤫
They spend a fortune on this event, it gets hammered! Maybe it'll get redone, lol.
hmmm... MattBangsConcrete ???
