Not entirely sure I agree on ALL of the video comparison, but I do agree that at 5:47 the Pixel looks to win on contrast and color. The iPhone makes the dog look almost beige in color, whereas the Pixel the dog looks more golden. Also the color of the grass is better on the Pixel than on the iPhone. I will admit that the iPhone image is a bit sharper, but the contrast and color win goes to Pixel. At 10:06, sorry bud, but night skies are not blue. lol For the image at 11:16, remember that Pixel's camera software allows for adjusting light exposure, contrast, color, etc. editing right in the camera software. Pixel 6 Pro doesn't use 4x telephoto camera in video. Pixel 6 pro keeps using digital zoom on the main camera instead of 4x optical lens, even in good light.
The night mode on the iPhone is actually superior. It just takes significantly less time which is more user-friendly. Just make it to take longer time for night mode and it will win. Meaning the iPhone is actually the winner

@@supaahflyy Agree, pixel size is the key here. I think their camera upgrade on pixel 6 are all about HDR for both still-images and video. But does not optimize well for low light scenarios as many reviewers had pointed out that pixel6 night shot took a bit longer than other phone. The underlying issues is most likely due to the smaller pixel sizes, which gather less amount of light, and required longer exposure time. More pixels render better HDR images yet comes with a huge tradeoff in low-light scenarios. This becomes a significant issue in video. Overall, Pixel6 still have amazing shot, especially shines on the dynamic range and color, but suffers from low light photography a bit in my opinion.

I actually think pixel does better in daily light video, apparently in its richer colors, maybe you can get conclusion with convincing reasons, but not directly deciding.
The Portrait-Shots with the Back-Camera of the Pixel seem very strange as non of the previous Pixels did this bad of a job and indeed, even the Pixel 6 Pro with the Front-Cam did the usual great job every Pixel before the 6 did (at least from what I have seen in the least years). I also saw a few other reviews with Portrait Shots and they were much better and pretty much like the front-facing camera in this test when it came to separation so I really don't know what went wrong with your tests here. Otherwise great comparison. You almost took the exact same pictures as me every time. I only picked the Coffee-Shot for the Pixel as I simply liked the colors in this shot way more and for videos the iPhone actually wasn't that much ahead in daytime in my opinion as while the iPhone was much cleaner, the colors where simply (in my opinion) significantly better in the Pixels video
I'm so fascinated about how all the major reviews are about the top of the line phones yet with pixels and iPhones the standard phones sell the most. iPhone 13 and Pixel 6 have sold way more than the 13 Pro Max and 6 Pro.
12MP is really the sweet spot for video up to 4k, and the reason why the A7s3 a full frame video oriented camera is 12MP. 50MP is just too much to fit in such a small sensor.

@@elinavance3476 maybe? i turned it off on my 13 Pro. On the phone dolby vision looks tremendous
Daniel two nice devices.Look forward to checking out the Pixel in person.Always enjoy.Deb ✌️
How was the macro shots on the Pixel done? I saw pretty close comparisons with the zoom lens being used on the Pixel.
He took a regularly shot and cropped out the rest until it was just the piece of metal thing.
pixel don't have a macro lens but if you zoom the 's' it will be 2 times better than iphone
Let's make this video simple: pixel 6 Pro King 👑
wow google pixel has a damn good camera which is insane. i hope that you will do comparison between pixel and s21 plus.
Need your advice. Iphone 13 or google pixel is the beast ?
Props to you for seeing these differences, i would have never noticed
Me too hhahah, i did not even know where to look
Why do you think? You tell me.
12MP is really the sweet spot for video up to 4k, and the reason why the A7s3 a full frame video oriented camera is 12MP. 50MP is just too much to fit in such a small sensor.
I dont get it, those hdr pics suck, im a photographer and i hate those lighthened shadows. Shadows gives depth to photo's. Thats why i like the iphone shots more.
Use 4x zoom instead of macro on the pixel
True
You need to work on your mobile photography sir📸 to be honest they look the same to me 🤷🏾♂️
Loved the video.
You just got another subscriber👍
IMO the pixel did significantly better in almost all of the aspects. The pixel is the camera king all over again after failing to improve for a couple of years in the middle. Watching out for the S22 ultra though. Its fun how smartphone camera wars are more competitive now than ever.
Your videos are freaking amazing! Can't wait for the comparison with the S21 Ultra since I like its camera better than the iPhone's.
This is a very subjective comparison of the two. And some of the differences are so miniscule it's probably not even worth mentioning.
Why comparison vlogs are so perfectionist. What's the matter with that in life.
If you want macro on a pixel just use x2 or x3 digital zoom. The sensor is big enough to handle this if cropping into the sensor
4:43 is it because your macbook isn't a HDR display so that the iPhone 13 Pro has a blown out sky? Maybe compare it using a HDR display can display it properly.
The HDR processing on the Pixel is insaneeee
The front facing selfies on pixel are great, natural and superb.
I have seen the professional photographers taking portraits with 4x tele. Looks amazing. Just natural blur
As an iphone user since 2007@ 20 years old. I am finally giving up apple for this phone. I am tired of all these tricks apple does, such as raise prices on the iphone with all these models. IE the "now" regular" iphone has a diagonal camera array just to differentiate it from a 12. Little bs like this is what drove me to leave this bs apple "ecosystem"
Yayyyyy...Google we won....Great video anyway...I appreciate ur unbiased analysis
why you dont use 3x telephoto shot instead of 4x that give pixel 2 extr point and the hdr itself give 4 point to pixel
Will the Pixel be getting a firmware update to improve camera performance?
Yes.
@@Mohamedahmed-jz7xd where did you hear that ?
Yes, actually as of the time I post this comment there’s already a update for better camera performance and features
This year pixel improved their camera sensor and also some software development.
Nice video test . Do you think the pixel 6 will get better at portrait pictures with updates etc. ?? As my pixel 5 was very good ☀️☀️☀️
Yes right now it's on pre release software. Wait until it gets a few updates and see what it does
@@sablemae8853 nice one cheers . ☀️
excellent review. please continue this levl of detail.
If I popped out my 13 Pro Max and tried to take some night mode video around the street, it would get stolen in 5 minutes flat, giving 1 point to the Pixel.
For me i want it to look more natural with shadows
When Apple used to show shadow a lot detail y’all used to call it flat. Y’all are funny
After watching the video between S21 Ultra vs Pixel 6pro, it's safe to say Samsung is still the camera champ for 2021
Yeah that seems to be the most important thing for you. I'm just amazed how good the Pixel does and I'm an iPhone user
Is your dog named Ren because of Ren and Stimpy? If so that's pretty clever lol
If you capture ProRAW on the iPhone, you can fix the shadows and get way more details.
i believe the camera will get improved through software update.
Some RUclipsr are saying pixel sucks in front of 13… it won for you… I think it maybe improve with software updates? And videography too? I’m confused now
just looking, the pixel video looked better to me. The colors were better the general look appeared natural.
In the video comparison I noticed that dog looks Better on the Pixel's video.
Do you know that we have fun manipulating /editing photos on available photo editing apps? Regardless of phone brands, we do not have issues with the camera.
Oh man, is this the ULTIMATE comparison! OMG!!! I guess I HAVE to watch this!!!!
I saw another youtuber mentions to use the 4x lens for macros and it allowed him to get a lot closer.
Does the Pixel 6 Pro also have a "pro" (manual exposure) mode, unlike the iPhone?
I wouldn’t say pro mode, but it has sliders to adjust exposure, temperature, and brightness when inside the viewfinder
@@FrizzyLoc18 so years after and they don't put manual exposure, like for example I have on my good old Huawei Mate 10 Pro and almost anything from Xiaomi.
May i know the price of pixel 6pro 128gb ?? Plz
Side Q: what is the location? The Timelapse looked like it was shooting Old Trafford Manchester
Bro great work ,but what about long exposure and action with pixel
Seria bueno que hagas otro video ya que ambos han actualizado sus camaras
its getting hot when gaming??overheating??why the games are capped at 60 hz??
